Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

It just means that the LocalFriendCodeSeed is part of the ConsoleID. So, in fact, injecting that seed is changing the ConsoleID TO THAT file. Not all of them. But to be safe, it would be better to do that and also use movable.sed from where you get it, to avoid long term issues since it can be used in case movable.sed gets an issue.

EDIT: Also, it means that if you or the console that gave you that id gets banned, both will be banned.

What I love is that some people want to download the game from the freeshop... I don't want to turn on my 3ds wifi until I have the legit game installed and at least 24hs have passed and people are reporting playing online, so I'm playing Sun again on saturday. I just finished trial numero 3 and my team is only missing Drampa, which I will request on the gts, assuming everything works lol.

You can get around the console ban by replacing your 3DS MoBo. You also have to call Ninty and get them to unlink your NNID from your old system.
 
For those in Europe region, you should be smart enough not to try playing online until a few days after the 23rd.. That's my plan anyway.

Also, does changing the date of the save make a difference to whether you'd receive a ban? If so, I guess I'll do so.

Save date should not matter, since people have their 3DS's set at wacky times all of the time.
 
i think we can use the man in the middle method to bypass that but i don't have linux so i can't test that if we get the packets the 3ds send to the servers we can bypass the ban

Aight, i live in korea and korea nintendo doesnt have nnid system. So ill have to use the internation call or something.
The thing is i updated every 3ds i have before i realized i was banned.
BUT
I have 1 o3ds i havent using and is just clean 3ds korean nintendo.
I havent check the version yet but could that possibly help me?
