Gaming Has anyone gotten banned from playing Pokemon Moon online?

I'd go as far as saying don't contact support for at least a week or two, because they all know a ban wave just happened and that you're almost certainly not innocent.

In my case nothing, which is why I laughed off the idea of being banned as any form of punishment for me (if I did get banned). My 3DS is pretty strictly an offline and local multiplayer gaming system, so yeah a ban from nintendo online services isn't much of a hit at all.

Well if you had CFW and a Pokebank (which you must if you used the CIA) why weren't you keeping a backup of the bank file or at least the .pk6 JIC? I mean nothing stored on an online server is safe from corruption. Anyone can lose their pokemon at any time.

No one is working towards a solution any more, its just new people asking the same questions over and over again, and other idiots assuming they know something they don't. We are on page 173 now and still going with the SAME SHIT. Would people PLEASE either contribute something USEFUL, or go cry somewhere else about your own retard mistake (preferably Nintendo's hotline. They issued the ban, go bitch and whine to THEM).

I justed answer him and asked if it's permanent... waiting for answser...

Since I'm not reading 173 pages, I'm going to directly ask you (I've been banned, same error as the rest of you):

2) If I manage to fix it, when will I be able to go online? I'm on EU console
3) If I manage to fix it and get rebanned, should I simply refix my ban with the above guide?

4) Backup your save, uninstall EVERYTHING to do with sun and moon, and get a proper download. Maybe just wait a few hours for a Freeshop update.

People use Showdown for battles, trade .pk6 files instead on in game, pretty sure battle royale will be updated into SD too.. So like I said the only ones really suffering are people who like to buy digital titles and people who spend a lot of time online, which are mostly competitive players considering the majority of 3DS games don't even HAVE online functions.

The NNID itself didn't get banned, the 3DS got banned from using it afaik.

It does work for the 002 ban but not the 022 ban and not everyone has another 3DS to dump a legit Freindseed.bin so it's not really necessary to call people idiots.

They don't have any "dirt" on any of us. The only thing they know is that people went online with an unreleased game. I'd say they know people went online with a DIGITAL COPY of an unreleased game, which is 100% impossible without pirating, but the banwave hit people with legit copies too, so they literally just blanket-banned anyone who went online with the game, legit or not.

Wait it out for a couple days, make up a believable cover story, and hope they're merciful and/or dumb.
