There are reports of brickway users not getting banned
So there you have the reason :P Nothing wrong with the game dump itself, but using a "digital version" of a game still unreleased on eShop makes them able to tell. This also means that anyone who doesn't connect to the in-game online stuff won't get banned.

When would you have had to be online to get banned? I was online 2-3 days ago.

I have the japanese cartridge, could playing it on my japanese 3DS but too lazy because I want using PkHeX and stuff. So I decided to dump my own cartridge with the header to play it on my gateway 3DS and so far, I don't have any problems using it online.

Yeap, i thought so too when i saw those report, made sense then :P

More than the v0 thingy anyways, because well, those .3ds are basically the .cia converted lol, they came from the same dump

guys it seems that i only have the 002-0102 ban. i can still access the eshop and download demos, one thing i will mention is that i didn't have an NNID, but have been able to set one up. does this mean i can bypass the ban as its not at mac level?
or am I going to have to buy a new 3DS, not fussed if I do as I have both sun and moon preordered was just impatience and wanted to play the game early which im now paying the price for?

Ok, thanks does that mean I need to wait 15 days?
Do not know. They said that the decision to be temp or perma-banned has not been made yet, just that the system detected something wrong, and that i'd been banned.

Yeah since Gatewait users said they are fine meaning that Nintendo could tell if we have the game digitally or on the cart.

How does one remove an NNID without deleting all their game saves and game downloads?
