First off, the link of the build is illegal because it contains Home Folder. Just Google Search it.
Second, the Bleeding Edge is the other build that has less issues than the 24-9(September 24) build. So it's better to get the Bleeding Edge build to do so.

I think I know why I have haters from India. I didn't give them links to the unofficial builds. :P

You can finish the game with no crashes on any Citra Builds. But it will have framerate drop.
Oh BTW, I'm using my College's computer and the specs are amazing! I got 30-60FPS in Sun and Moon! So beefy! No crashes! I could finish the game in just 12-16 hours(normal playthrough). But I can't record it since I'm not allowed to install Bandicam or any recorder on the computer.
Dont mention any country name only becauss of few people belonging from their and other people from other country also ask for emulator or illegal link so you can't say that only people from india ask

I forgot to add "often". But same thing. Not only India got the hate. But other countries as well. :P
Mostly Brazil cause a troll created 3 accounts. Thanks Youtube Analytics.

Anyways,
plz give the modified 24/9 build of citra for pokemon sun
Just google search "Citra 24-9" and go to other links.

By the way, did anybody find why Sun and moon progressively slow down? I have smooth 60 fps in the overworld (much more in interiors) at first but the performance degrades in around fifteen minutes to the point it gets unplayable or simply crashes. I use a I7 4790k + GTX 1080, should have no sweat about hardware, i tried every Citra build i could (09 15, 09 25, newer ones, bleeding edge etc) and this same thing i mentioned always happens.

The special demo was running so smooth that i had hope to play the full game in decent frame rate, well, it is possible for ten minutes or so.

Try save the game, close and reopen the emulator, and done. Someone says that reopen the emulator could reset the framerate drop.

I heard from someone that pokemon sun and moon code was just terrible. Memory leaks problem.

I do that, but it is kinda problematic with the long cutscenes in this game.

And you may be right, as that is a classic memory leak symptom, i wonder how people are finishing those games on citra.

I'm just going to forget about Citra until next year. Hopefully by then, you wouldn't need a monstrous pc in order to play games at top speed.

Is the AVX V5 any good from imortalgames?
it's the single build that never freezes or crashes for me but it's so fking slow after 1 encounter you have to restart it ( i7 4710q 2.5ghz and gtx980m 8GB) which is why i dont really play pokemon right now and waiting for a faster build

Did you see my pokemon stats, & Special moves beats everything.
300 plus stats at level 100 hp,attack & speed.

If you find other pokemon with better stats at level 100 upload a Picture.

I think you are referring to these type pf pokemon right?I don't think we need those who 300++ or 400++ to beat the game ,unless there will be hack version in hard mode

Lol. What a small legendary. :P
But anyways, you can just play the game without cheating your way to finish the League and battle Red and Blue.

Anyways,

Nickname him "Marina Joyce". I don't care as long as I chose Popplio.

Edit: Also, there's a bug on Citra. The game crashes when you play it for too long. So it's better to save the game all the time just to be safe.
Second, you cannot edit the game with PKHex even though the save format is "main". So if you want to edit like change the language or make your starter Shiny, just change the values using Hex Editor or something.
Edit again: PKHex got Gen 7 support. Compile it on it's GitHub page.

I also choose water starter as well, but my save file seems like corrupted and maybe i need to start the game all over again , by the way we can reach the end of S & M in citra?

Professor Kukui is the Alola champion in SM ,I heard we can only bring maximum of 3 mons to fight him to avoid the blackscreen error on citra for letting us to bypass the end .....This is the only bug right now on citra for these 2 games if i not mistaken, any other bugs and errors?

People please! Stop talking about pokemon (and pokemon-related issues in citra) here, we've lost track of the current development and news of the unofficial builds which are the main topic of this thread.

It would be more convincing to create another thread dedicated to such pokemon discussion, and let this thread be.

I mean... just skipping one day and there are clearly new 5~7 pages! So even if someone posted some important news or advancement, no one will notice it or something.

I'm curious to know why Citra does not have an option to switch between Direct3d and Opengl like other emulators including PCSX2 and the like. Because my pc always plays games faster with Direct3d on those emulators for some reason.
