Yeah might have been traffic or simply the server failed or something.

Common issue with Megaman X, just get the 1.1 ROM.

AFAIK, that's the game's copy protection kicking into gear, causing random lockups and resets, you'll need to use version 1.1 or so of the ROM.

I haven't downloaded it yet, so I'm not sure where to get it.
The RetroArch guys mentioned they got MAME 2003 Midway and another FBA CPS3 core working with some stripped down things due to the size of the overall cores themselves.
Wait until the server goes back online, I bet the next nightly will include those two.

There is no why to everything. As i have told you before, patience is the KEY. There are thousands of games to play while you wait for the next build, for the site to work, etc. Life goes on!
