Hacking Dragon Quest Builders Real-time Cheats

I figured I would start a new thread instead of hijacking the other one.

Here is my contribution for real-time cheating with Dragon Quest Builders.

I have the USA version I dumped myself. These codes seem to work well for me.

You need GoHANmem version 2.0 that you can pick up from here.

It's the only plugin I have loaded.

Dragon Quest Builders seems to switch between 2 different offsets for me on occasion. I have the codes that start with 1, for when the Block that starts with 0x849 ends with 0x851. The codes that start with 2 are for when the block that starts with 0x849 ends with 0x852. The offsets are off by 0x001 when these changes occur for me.

You can change the language of version 2.0 by pressing L a couple of times and pressing down to English and pressing O.

Others have said these don't work for them, but I'm not sure why. I figured I would contribute anyway in case it helps others.

I added some codes for hunger and reset days elapsed that are not in the other thread.

Okay with you .txt file it worked now for some reason. Yours had 2 spaces in between each code mine didn't idk if that affected anything.

I tried this. but didnt worked.

have EU Vita, Germany. Tried the PCSE00912_Dragon Quest Builders.vpk

it shows all the codes ingame. but when i "activate" them nothing happend.

When i try to search by myself my game crashed everytieme

I tried it now with your txt file and nothing has changed...

I have the PCSE00912 Version as a Maidump. Loaded my first Chapter Save and tried the V1 and V2 Cheats and Locked them with GohanMeM 2.0 but nothing is changing ingame. No Items, No HP or ATK etc...

Well, it's working for at least one.

The only thing I can try is to download the version you all have. Does anyone have a link to the version you are are using? I can try searching for cheats with it.

I went ahead and download the Maidump PCSE00912 I found on the Internet and installed it. Searching for the codes comes up with the same result for me.

I am using load mode 5 from Maidump. I also changed it to load mode 6 and it still came up with my address for the item slot.

In order to not load plugins, you have to delete them from the plugins directory.

I am unsure why it's not working for some of you.

@Drummer thats really strange. I mean im not the only one with this problem... Would be so awesome to cheat in realtime instead of manually hex editing the save everytime...

For everyone who is having problems with the Cheats. I finally found a Solution for this!

If you are Playing the Game in an other Language than English the Cheats doesnt seem to work (I played it in German and nothing happend). Switched now to english and the cheats are working!

I was able to replicate the issue and fiddled around with German set as my language. I came up with these codes for when German is your language. You can try these out if you really want to play in German.

Tested the German Version Txt you made and its working perfect! Now i can play it even in German with Cheats. Thank you very much for taking your Time for this. But its really strange that the Values or Offsets seems to Change if we you diffrent languages ?!

hey, i'm new to these things, i just wanna make the days to 1 that's all what i need, so can you make a guide on how to do that ?

thank you so much, it works fine with chapter one and got the trophy for finishing all the challenges, i hope it will work with chapter 2,3 and 4 too

I'm guessing your German? Use the PCSE00912_German.txt file and rename it to PCSE00912.txt

I see, the Codes. But how to activate the codes? I can lock and unlock the codes, but nothing.
a video how to use GoHANmem would be nice.

Not sure I can help. I know languages affect the Dragon Quest Builders codes. If nothing is happening when you lock the code it usually means the address is wrong. I have codes for when English is your language and German is your language. They work for others, so I'm not sure why it won't work for you.

My language is german, but I have tried with englisch too (system language = game language), wihtout effects.
