Hacking 3ds boots only into SysNAND

Hey, everything was fine with my system. I used CtrBootManager to launch Luma3ds or the Homebrew launcher. Then I decided to update Luma3ds so I could update my emuNAND for Animal Crossing. While I was at it, I also updated Menuhax from 2.2 to 3.1. But now every time I boot my 3ds (old) it boots straight into sysNAND. I can still launch luma3ds via the homebrew launcher using browserhax but that's not preferred. I'm completely clueless... any help?

Is autoboot sysNAND enabled in Luma's config?
Make sure you have boot.3dsx on your SD card too.

No need to shove it down their throat. If he doesn't feel safe installing it, let him use menuhax.
Sure, menuhax is inferior, but it's his current set up, so let him keep it if he ever so chooses so.
Please keep in mind that he's only asking for a solution to his problem, not a suggestion, as I'm pretty sure everyone knows what arm9loaderhax is already.

Nope! I am going to keep pushing to get people up to date! Sorry, but we as a community can't allow people to stay out of date because of lack of information or phobias. The guide is stupidly easy and there's just no reason left to allow people to stay behind.

It's still supported and it works just fine. Your logic is if someone had a problem with Windows 7, like a driver problem and the real solution was to restart the PC.... your solution would be to install Windows 10 because it's the newest operating system and it (was) free.
You can continue shoving your "solution" down people's throats since you're free to post whatever you want as long as it follows the rules, it's just people are comfortable with their setup. Some people don't have the time to install it. It's scary the first time installing it because there's always the chance of bricking it (even if you follow the guide in extreme circumstances)
When/if menuhax gets patched by Nintendo (I doubt it) then it will be time to upgrade to arm9loaderhax. Right now, there is no need for it.

I feel like the risk outweighs the reward when installing arm9loaderhax, but it's been balancing out as the guide is adding more and more safety checks, but would you rather have a bricked 3DS or stick with your current set up?

If you already have 9.2/9.0, your risks of bricking are basically gone. They've replaced the whole downgrade process with a faster and safer process that's almost impossible to brick with.

I don't see any glitched lines or codes, it boots up as if I have no SD card.

Also, no I do not have autoboot SysNAND checked in the Luma settings.

he has already mentioned he using menuhax+emunand, if he tries to run the recovery mode on menuhax it will update his sysnand to 11.2

from the sounds of it he just needs to change the "boot sysnand" option off in the luma config menu

It seems you don't have to continue with the sys-update. Would have to ask someone who's done that. Unless you are saying you went through the same situation?

I'm just finished installing arm9loaderhax and everything seems to be fine now.
