Nice! I think you should make a full-on Mario 64 remake! I always thought Mario 64 DS with updated graphics on the 3DS would be awesome.

I have exciting news to report. Since it will be taking us until christmas to complete this. It has now become a 3 World Hack, rather than a 2 World Hack

@mustafag32g I have some ideas for the ROM hack (obviously inspired by playing 3D World):

• Replace the soundtrack with the one from 3D World; it has a much better atmosphere in my opinion.
• Add in some levels inspired by the Train levels from 3D World, with or without auto-scroll (I don't know if the camera's capable of doing that).

The camera is capable of scrolling! However since I am working on this for free and also have a life outside . I study at University and work at a highschool.. I have a hard time doing lots of work on a new hack!

Starlight and Louis are very kind to help me finish this one! Thank you for the idea though...

1. No, we will not be replacing all songs. We will only be replacing a few where it's appropriate (e.g. Bianco Hills has Bianco Hills music, Shifting Land has SSL music, etc) Because some tracks in this game are currently impossible to replace.

2. Yes, the camera is capable of autoscrolling. However, as for train levels, probably not, unless someone is nice enough to model a train level.

the remake of Whomp's fortress is gonna turn out to be really NICE! It has TONS of exploration material which is unusual for 3d land

It is almost done! Still need to decorate it a bit though. There aree a few empty areas

here is a pic of the tower! You msut climb the tower and there you will see a catapult! There are many secret areas to explore

By some tracks do you mean Sequences? Then yes, it's not possible. If you're talking Multi-Stream BCSTMs then no, it IS possible. I even have a tutorial for that.
