from the pastebin....

"This version of rednand has signature patches, but the method to repack
# homebrew in NUS format is not yet known. It is actively being worked on.

# Until then, homebrew apps still cannot be installed to the home menu."

is this old or something?

you are correct , @iAqua , is little ahead of himself with that ..

I believe Nintendo's sdk has a tool to create apps? I'm not exactly sure how to compile homebrew though.

Ah man, really bad timing as i was just about to get stoned

This made me laugh hysterically

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Good luck with that.
It's not the easiest thing to use in the world and not everything works.

using nintendo's sdk to compile anything homebrew related is breaking the contract in the first place.. you could get a D/C order sent to you

So can I install this, unlink my nand and then still use my usb installed games in rednand?
No and yes.
Upon formatting sysNAND, all your USBs linked to your Wii U will no longer work. You will have to reformat the USB to your Wii U after unlinking the NANDs.
This means that all your games and saves will be deleted. If you really want to format your sysNAND, backup your saves first.

However, once you reformat your USB, it will work on redNAND.

there is a file in the iosu-master folder called bin and inside there is a file called "getfwimg.py", inside that file there is a section that requires 3 keys..
wiiu_common_key = "you have to insert this yourself"
starbuck_ancast_key = "you have to insert this yourself"
starbuck_ancast_iv = "you have to insert this yourself"

I guessing then sysNAND will have a Hard Drive not formatted error on Wii U power up?

So we have to "find" those or dump them from our own consoles? what are they, anyways?
