Hypothetically, if the Wii U was updated and the exploit which allows WUP Installer, Homebrew Launcher, etc, was closed, would games already installed to system memory/USB via WUP Installer still work?
They act as though they are legit games so they work wether or not the exploit is on. So they should stay even with the updateHypothetically, if the Wii U was updated and the exploit which allows WUP Installer, Homebrew Launcher, etc, was closed, would games already installed to system memory/USB via WUP Installer still work?
The usb exploit has a ticket that works on all wii u. Not tied to any wii u. (It is using the disc tiket which works on all wii u and spoofs it as eshop ticket so it works on all wii u)Are the games installed locked to the one console/account, or can you use the usb HDD in any wii u?

This is just my theory. Ninty could check the tickets if they wanted and delete them. That would be awesome - on the basis I doubt there'll be many new Wii U games now, in theory we could just installing all the best games that are available now to a USB drive, and play forever
No. The games ticket will work on any wii u if you dumped it with iosuso my USB HDD will work on another wii U?
No. The games ticket will work on any wii u if you dumped it with iosu
But now that wuds can be installed with unmodified tickets, it seems almost impossible for Nintendo to detect those. This is just my theory. Ninty could check the tickets if they wanted and delete them.
Plugging a hdd from one wii u to a different one won't work. Dumping the ticket and installing on a different wii u will work.so the USB HDD with the wupinstaller-installed games will work anywhere?
and the nintendo-downloaded games are console-specific and won't show up on another wii u (or will be deleted)?
This, per-console encryption keys, you'd have to get the OTP from both consoles and make a tool to un-encrypt and re-encrypt and even then there's probably still some console specific data on itPlugging a hdd from one wii u to a different one won't work. Dumping the ticket and installing on a different wii u will work.
It's as if you own the game. Your completely safe.I'm also frightened that playing online could ban that particular Wii U console forever, like it does with sky3ds with public header?

Every disc ticket is the same. But there'll be like thousands of people using the same ticket?
Every disc ticket is the same.
