I know lots of us here want to break open the Switch, but let's put us in Nintendo's perspective. What would you do to secure the Switch from being hacked to accommodate all the security flaws the 3DS and Wii U had?
For me, I think they'll use a more secure browser that'll either auto update or block you from using it without updating or having a connection to the update server.
Another thought would be to have a integrity check on saves, where the console would save a 'last time saved' and check it with the save that is stored in the SD card or the game cart, and if it's invalid, then it's corrupted.

I find a good information somewhere in the Google. Here: It doesn’t matter what security measures are put in place; you can make it more difficult, but you cannot make it impossible: the hackers will find a way in. That’s not fatalism, that’s the simple truth.

That's very true.

Absolutely no user accessible storage.
From a functionality/usability standpoint this would be really bad.
Strictly thinking security, no user access, no soft way in, would have to get to soldering.
In the old days all consoles/handhelds were like this, Rom Carts were good back then as they couldn't easily push updates.

It won't be like that, we have progressed too far for that to ever be viable.

Agreed.
I was simply stating the only way I think would actually prevent home brew.
It would also really hurt sales.
Whether companies like it or not, many people want/need root/jailbreak/homebrew.
I wouldn't have bought my n3ds last month if I wasn't sure I could homebrew it.

Well, it's definitely going to resrict any downgrades. I'm thinking only Dev units can downgrade now.

No menus, no cubic ninjas, no browsers, no OOT3ds, no freakyforms deluxes, no paper mario sticker sucks, no ORASs, no haxes, no games, no cartridge slot, no sd slot, no usb slot, no buttons, no hardware, and just a empty box that says switch.
Just open it and say:

"Im in..."

Think of it like this: Nintendo thinks they get better with security with every console (LOL)
Hacks
Gamecube: Modchip
DSi: Did they even try? Like seriously
Wii: Easiest fucking hack you've ever done
Wii U: A bit harder, but still easily done
3DS: It gets harder every time, but we still manage to do it, don't we?
Switch: To be Continued
