The NTR firmware.bin in /luma doesn't seem to be the issue, as I've deleted it and I receive the same result.

Updated fine from 11.1.34 to 11.2.35 n3ds XL

So far so good.

Ok, so I am now seeing more reports of a firm error with luma a9lh 11.2. Nintendo may have done something to CFW or a9lh

They would have to hardcode every system that has it so I doubt it's that

@Aletron9000 you should be fine to update, just updated my USA o3ds with A9LH Luma 6.3.1 and it went perfectly fine

Because native firm was updated its been patched for the time being, so just be patient for it to be updated in the coming days

Alright guys, Luma+A9LH is working fine. It wasn't patched at all. Update to the latest version of Luma and try again.

Added in detection maybe. Change permissions so firm0 and firm1 cannot be marked read only which could lead to brick or removal of a9lh

That would be a lot of people's 3DS's becoming bricked, I don't think Nintendo wants to hear reports of that in wave
