Lack of d-pad is a big con but it's understandable because they have to function as face buttons on the multiplayer mode.

The joycons are fine together, but using it with 2 people is just too small.
On an unrelated note:
THIS IS MY 100TH POST!
I'M NOW A "MEMBER" INSTEAD OF A "NEWCOMER!"
YAY!

It looks like its about the same size as the controller that comes packaged with this (side note, don't buy one, they're literal shit):

In spite of never being able to get it to ACTUALLY function as a controller, I held it in my hand both horizontally and vertically and it felt VERY comfortable (aside from feeling incredibly cheap, which I think we can count on Nintendo to not do). For reference, I have pianist hands; really long but relatively thin fingers. I don't know what it would be like for people who have big meaty hands, but they should be fine for people with proportionately small or long hands

Well they are designed for people who use chopsticks. I, myself, use chopsticks, so using the Joy-Con should come naturally.
One thing Asians are really good at. But when I was little my teacher taught me how to use a pen first and I still cannot handle it.
God, no. They look terribly uncomfortable, and I have small hands.
I don't think I'll ever use them for multiplayer.
Female hands are typically more slender (cause a majority guys are fat and bulky), but the women in the trailer does not seem to have problem adapting them.

I wonder if the joycons will be able to attach to each other directly, or if they REQUIRE the joycon grip to be attached......

I guess we'll just have to see when it comes out.

Speaking as someone who loves the GamePad and does not own a Pro Controller, I think the Joy-Cons are honestly pretty bad. They look awkward, and sort of seem like if someone tried to make a clone of the Wii Remote + Nunchuk but tried to not make it too obvious. I'll be picking up a Switch Pro controller.
