read different things regarding the potential brick risk. so is there a risk if I acidentally install a different region game?

most ppl here say NO. would be great if someone could confirm this.
I installed eur mario maker on us console to nand and no brick. The title just wont launch.

Is that the one? 4 months old? ok it said 1.1 instead of 1.0 and there were two names isntead of the one in the title but same error

It won't brick your console, it just won't load the game. But since you have to either download a pre-modded ticket (best case) or edit it yourself (worst case scenario) and that has to match the game, you'll have to screw up twice (one for the TIK, one for the game) to install a game from a different region by accident.

When you launch the WUPInstaller from HBL what does it say? Can you trake a picture of it and also post a screenshot of your apps folder on your SD Card

So if we can install out of region games, would it be possible to modify the our loader home brew and possibly make it wok?

I get this error sometimes I am getting it at the moment trying to install YoshisWW try ejecting your sd card and giving it a wipe also give your wiiu sd slot a good blow or just try ejecting the sd card in and out a few times, it helps stop the error or also just keep trying it will eventually go and install. Your sd card your using might be faulty also a bad sd card etc..

H ,

i did but this thread moves so fast so now its like 3 pages behind sorry. Ive tried 2 different wupinstallers (and screenshotted them)

This is my appfolder. Straight from the AIO file exept HBL which is one version back. The latest one stopped working today for some reason.

well, I think its cause the updates title.tik and the full games title.tik are different, but I don't know for sure. I either get that if I paste the update into the install folder with the game, or I get a version title error if I don't put the update files into the install folder.
you cant use a ticket from an update.

Are you installing to internal memory or a Hard drive or an sd card via a usb adapter way because if your doing it via a usb adapter with an sd card in when you get this error first time with wup you will need to take your sd card format it on your pc and then format it again on your wiiu, it corrupts it straight away soon as you get the error.and you need to format your memory for your wiiu again else this error will keep popping up its suggesting your external memory is corrupted.

Edit: you will find if you go into wiiu system settings and try to format your external memory your using, it will error out as there is a disc in the drive which of course is nonsense and you need to power down, if your getting this you will need to format your external memory again.
