Any idea on how to accomplish this? It's usually easier to get EUR versions of games. When I try, it boots with an error code about taking out the SD.

Have you tried to add "-region EUR" in that line
<argstr type="string" length="4096">main.rpx -region EUR</argstr>
into the cos.xml file?

Wow, well that actually worked! Thank you. I didn't know about this feature. Wow if it's that easy, then maybe games should come that way by default, or a feature added to Loadiine GX2 to do it for you. How did you know about this? What other game need this?

That was just the fix to make compatible the USA leaked game with eur wii u (by adding the "-region USA"). So i have supposed that it will work the same way with a USA wii u and a eur game. And that's the case. That's all.

I added -region USA in cos but it still gives me the SD card error

Since you are from USA, I suppose your wii u is USA, and you have color splash EUR. So, you should add "-region EUR" in the cos.xml file, in that line:
<argstr type="string" length="4096">main.rpx -region EUR</argstr>
If it still doesn't work, be sure to have a good dump.

So if you have the usa game, with a usa wiiu... No need to change something into the cos.xml file.
That means...
Yeah, usually if it still errors it's that the SD is dying/corrupting or the file dump is bad
