Hacking [HELP] N3DS 10.7.0 - Downgrading without an entrypoint

Hey guys, I just got my N3DS Super Mario 3D Land 10.7.0-33. First thing first, I hop on the awesome Plailect tutorial on al9h I used for my O3DS and then... I need an entrypoint since the browserhax exploit doesn't work on this version. Damn.

So, I have a full al9h equipped O3DS last version, and I don't mind using the DSiWare exploit... But if my N3DS is below 11.0, I still need an entrypoint for ctr-httpwn. Should I update my N3DS to the last version and then use the DSiWare exploit without an entry point with steelhax, or should I wait my ass a few days and buy one of the more common entrypoint?

Also I got a TN display... fml <o3o>

UPDATE: So with the great help of [I]@nechigawara[/I], I'm going for the browserhax exploit (with some tweaks) this evening, I'll keep you guys updated and make a guide out of it if everything turns out right. I also bought a copy of Zelda: OOT online just to be sure. A big shout out to everyone here, you guys were a great help.

UPDATE 2: Sorry guys! I had no luck at all with browserhax. I don't think it's possible. I've tried a lot of things. I went with OOTHAX and everything looks great, I've got myself a fully hacked N3DS!

Wait and save yourself the headache of the DSiWare downgrade. Buy OoT off of Amazon or something I'd say. Or, and this sounds shady I guess, find a used copy of a game that has a secondary exploit at GameStop, load the exploit, downgrade, then take advantage of their return policy for a full refund. I think it is 7 days full refund for used games.

Edit: Make sure you wipe the exploited game's save of course so the next buyer can play without wondering what is wrong with their game.

Honestly, I don't find the DSiWare that hard to do. It's just that updating to the latest firmware just for skipping entry points leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I just want to be sure that it is feasible so I'm not fucked up after updating. I am not a patient man... And I like a challenge. I guess if I fuck it up I can always return my N3DS to Amazon. I think I'm gonna do it... Ughh it's so hard for me to wait another day. I really don't know what to do. Anyone with actual experience with the DSiWare exploit?

since they are secondary games, you can get them much cheaper than the primary ones (Cubic Ninja, Freakyforms Deluxe), for probably just a few $ more than Fieldrunners/Legends of Exidia (or maybe even cheaper).

Alright, that seems really interesting. I know my way around a router too, working in IT. I'll try that tonight and if it works, I'm gonna make a guide for everyone to enjoy. Just saying that my N3DS is on 10.7.0-33 so I don't know how this will go. I wonder if I could actually go directly to the 9.2.0 downgrade without installing menuhax. I'll keep you guys updated, and @nechigawara, thanks a lot. Maybe I won't actually have to wait so long.

I thought OOT with powersaves was acting as primary exploit, like cubic ninja and freakyforms deluxe :-/
edit: Does the nintendo selects OOT work as the original cartridge?

having another console with cfw is really handy plus a cartridge copy of OOT..you could install the oothax on it and change the firmware anytime to match the firmware on the target 3DS..wish i live next door i could just let you borrow my copy and u dont have to wait til stores open up..anyway, good luck to you..keep us posted

Yeah, but tonight I'll try to browserhax since I didn't opened the browser yet (so no nag) while blocking everything but yls8.mtheall.com for the downgrade. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the support buddy.

I setup OOT for 10.7 but never setup menuhax on my Mario N3DS, figuring I could just redo OOT for 9.2.

Naturally, it partial downgraded and now OOT for 10.7 or 9.2 isn't working. I can't use the browser because of the update nag, so browserhax is out. How the hell do I get to the Homebrew Launcher to perform the downgrade again?

Edit: Nevermind! OOT worked this time. I'll continue on with my downgrade/A9LH procedure.

I faced similar problem while doing mine too. But mine partial downgraded work with 9.2 OOT3D so I'm safe too.
Another problem I found is after restored to 9.2, it won't update to 11.1 on the first run. But work find on 2nd try.

You will need to find another entrypoint then buddy I find it weird that your browser isn't downgraded since the last version of sysDowngrader downgrade it first in case of a partial downgrade

I found it weird too, but it showed 9.2.0-20U in Settings and the browser worked. Could it be that it finished enough to actually allow the browser to work? It was mostly finished downgrading before I saw the Nintendo error screen forcing me to reboot.
