Hacking Wii U 5.5.X OTP?

I never heard of something called OTP, what is it exactly? What can we do with it?
Could not find something via google.

i'm not an expert, but i know that on the 3DS you need (or needed?) a dump of your own OTP to install A9LH, sooo something very hacky

Another Nikki's bullshit. And even if it was true, we can't do anything with that. Still a lot is locked by boot 0/1.
 
Probably without IOSU with this OTP thing, we could not anyway do more that we are not able to do right now, so no hype... i suppose
 
Does knowing/assuming this is doable infer that we'll be able to do fun stuff with the firmware later down the road?
 
The Wii U have an OTP bank (very similar and not, at the same time xD) to the Wii one !
We can dump it and write it into a binary file as we made for 3ds and Wii
But it needs IOS-CRYPTO permission + ARM userspace permission (to call the IOSU syscall)
