Opening
Before entering the topic itself I should mention that this topic related to the downgrade from this guide with the setup I do have currently, which they are:
  • o3DS 1# SysNAND 9.2 downgraded from 10.5, running EmuNAND 11.1 using GW, which contain:
    • A purchased copy of DSiWare game installed (Fieldrunners).
    • FBI installed using devMenu (installed before I update from 9.2 EmuNAND to 11.1 EmuNAND).
  • o3DS 2# SysNAND 11.0, never got exploited but I can run Hombrew using "Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon" hax using Sky3DS.
Goal
To achieve downgrade for my o3DS 2# from 11.0 to 10.7 using DSiWarehax.

Problem
I was not able to processed the guide part since I can't run DSiWarehax in Gateway.

Decision
I need to decided which path is the correct path I should follow in order to achieve the DSiWarehax:
  • Discard GW, and move to hack my o3DS 1# with Decrypt9, following with installing arm9loaderhax. After that, I will hack my o3DS 2# using DSiWarehax guide, then reuse my GW cart, and create EmuNAND in my o3DS 2#.
    • However, I will might lose my GW EmuNAND that is stored in my another SD card. (Which I can do that if I needed to do it)
  • Forget about all this planning, and wait for another 3dshack scene to happen.
I really need help on deciding what I should do. Any suggestion is appreciated here.

Note: I might have less clue of those terms (Luma3DS, arm9loaderhax, ReiNAND, rxTool) since I never experienced them before, but I will keep looking for them.

DSiWare is not compatible with Gateway. It would be loads easier to set up a9lh on the source console. You can do this (assuming FieldRunners was bought on the Gateway emuNAND, and at the end you want to have everything back on the source console):

  1. Set up a9lh on the source according to https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki
  2. Follow the optional part near the end of the guide that has you flash emuNAND to sysNAND
  3. Follow the DSiWare guide as written
  4. Wait seven days and system transfer back to the source console
  5. Follow https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-with-gateway-on-v2-a9lh.431691/ to have Gateway work on the source console again.

Your assumption is on the right place, I will go and start doing these steps one by one, and I will post any updates regard my attempts.

I believe you can just launch your EmuNand via Luma3DS and DSiWarehax will work

EDIT: Ninja'd... But at least this was confirmed :yay3ds:

I hope that is true, since I was thought the term EmuNAND is different between GW and the one with A9HL.

I have successfully done the DSiWarehax on my o3DS #2, the system transferring worked perfectly that it transferred the exploited DSiWare game. However, my NNID is currently not working anymore (which it is kinda fine, since I have to transfer it again from o3DS #2 to o3DS #1).

Let's say, it was for me a big deal to go with arm9loaderhax instead of staying with GW, since there are a lot of possibilities that I could do with arm9loaderhax instead of GW. And the process for my case went like this:
  • Installed arm9loaderhax on my o3DS #1
  • Installed DSiWare game and injected it with the payload inside.
  • Successfully transferred all contents from o3DS #1 to o3DS #2
  • Downgraded my o3DS #2 and installed arm9loaderhax on it.
I'm happy that I success on downgrading my o3DS #2 using that, hopefully I will be able to transfer my NNID back to my original o3DS #1.

However, I have reached to point of writing questions in google without a good results, but I decided to write it down here:
  • How I could create an EmuNAND using arm9loaderhax or anything that support alh9 hack?
    • Can I restore my SysNAND dump as EmuNAND? is it risky if I did that?
  • Is ReiNAND another type of EmuNAND? are there any other type of *NANDs that I should looking for?

And thank you guys for any clarification :yay3ds:

You don't need emuNAND with a9lh. It just makes things harder and had nearly zero benefit (only benefit is if you either want to have more than 300 titles installed [you can have 300 on sysNAND and 300 on emuNAND] or you want to do a region change and are too chicken to do it on sysNAND or you want two regions at once)

ReiNAND is a CFW like Luma. Luma evolved from ReiNAND, and ReiNAND is no longer being developed.
