@adpits Yes, but you should need to wait some large time if you are planning in wait for BrowserHax or MenuHax again. You can use game exploits when they are updated to 11.1.0-34, Ocarina of Time 3D gamecard and PowerSaves will let you use Homebrew in 11.1.0-34 when the payload is updated.

Fbi is not booted via hbl so it will work fine

Why would anyone want to update his/her 3DS hacked?
Just a curious note... I downloaded SmileBasic from FreeShop a week ago, and it downloaded the v3.3.2, I use is mostly to learn to programming since I have the Homebrew Launcher as Cia, SmileBasic wouldn't be useful as an entrypoint.

I've just bought a 10.3 N3DS XL and was going to use "the" guide but I have a quick question as this new update has been released - am I safe to use the guide to downgrade and install Luma3ds but leave out the section that advises to update the fw under
"Section IV - Restoring the System"?

I just want to use cia

yes and no. staying on 10.3 since CTR-HTTPWN is broken , you will loose online features and eShop

it boils down to the elitists need to just GTFO from GBA temp or Just lurk. for teh most part why rxtools users get such flak, its outdated, doesnt have the protections and yes while there are features in luma most rxtools users dont give to fracks about every update an rxtool user makes runs the risk of finally meeting thier fate and its too late. (say what if 11.2 is teh death and said user updates, and thsi update overrides Sysnand,FIRM0/FIRM1? they wont have any option to Fix it w/o Hardmoding and when Hardmoding is the only option most tend to... "Get pissy" (luma has FIRM write protections to stop an update brick)

yes, you can install cfw on the old 3ds, install the required game, and do a system transfer. i believe thats how it works
