Apparently it hasn't been properly dumped yet. This is the log from a Panda unit.

  1. Processing CIA "NfpManager.cia"
  2. Pass #1: CIA decryption...
  3. Decrypting Content 1 of 1 (0MB)...
  4. Verifying decrypted content...
  5. Verification failed!
    1. Pass #2: NCCH decryption...
    2. Recalculating TMD hashes...
    3. Failed!

I don't know how you did, but it works fine on my console. Both .3ds and .cia.

Nope. No current dump of this or other SDK apps available. Theres a couple amiibo apps not dumped yet. Heres an example of two other known apps not yet publicaly dumped (they are amiibo tools as well.)

So hwo would have access to something like this? Just devs, and if so do we know who leaked other tools/another dev and try to get a dump from them.
EDIT: A dump of the Roms that is.

Sorry to hear that. NfpManager, NfcSdmcTool, NfpUtil and NoftWriter, they all work fine on my O3DS.

How did you manage to install it? I get cert signature or hash check failed when I try with FBI
Those .CIA's from the latest SDK need to be signed for retail consoles. They're made for dev units. Idk how to convert them for retail units yet.

Give it a shot. It appears those tools would allow us to edit amiibo data and even back them up :)

Buy them direct from Nintendo, 30 cents each :)

(opinion: what's the fun in amiibos without the actual action figure)

People have been doing all manners of interesting things with the NFC tags inside the figurines (plush toys, cards... even 3d printing amiibo tokens)

Some people also just buy the amiibos to collect and leave in their boxes...

Cards are also more convenient for the 3DS...

Sorry for bumping an old thread, so, I managed to install these apps from the newer SDK:
NfpManager: Which only display info and let me fix corrupted/modify/delete amiibo data.
NfpUtil: It only lets me browser the SD card.
NoftWriter: Only lets you corrupt or clear amiibo data.
NfpSdmcTool: This one supposedly let's me backup and restore stuff, but it only works with devunits or Luma dev and it tells me the amiibo is not compatible.

So... anybody got a working solution to backup/restore amiibo data? Or maybe help me see what I did wrong.
