Ok, got it working on the PC. Took the apk that was made on the last page, installed it on my 6p. Extracted everything from it and ran it on the PC using XAMPP method and everything is working perfectly on 5.5.1.

The zip in the original post would not work for me, seems it is missing some files.

The zip isn't missing any files. The www folder in the apk is the same files. It works for everyone else. Perhaps your Antivirus deleted something when you extracted?

Probably that, had defender disabled, but windows 10 so who knows.

Thanks for AIO, this finally got me off my ass and started self hosting.

Thanks for reply. Remeber that is only a test version. I will try to fix the error with newer devices too.

Quick question. I have a old windows phone here. Anyone know of a app that can use the files here to host on Windows phone with?

Sorry, didn't found one.

Android selfhosting (KaflukeHost 1.0.1 - Update)

Can you please test version 1.0.1 if the PIE error is gone now??

KaflukeHost 1.0.0 - for older android versions (like 4.0)

KaflukeHost 1.0.1 - for newer android versions (like 5.0++)

1. Uninstall old Kafluke 1.0.0
2. Delete KaflukeHost folder on SDcard
3. Reinstall Kafluke 1.0.1
4. Profit :-)

(Note: You shouldn't have to uninstall the app and deleting the folder - but it is safer to do so)

@Kafluke @Madridi @darky2003

@owek1 (can you test the new one, too?)

As of now I'm running the HTML only self hosting package on an old Nexx WT3020 mini router with OpenWRT, powered by one of the USB ports on the Wii U. A quite elegant setup if I may say so myself, at least to be made up with stuff I already had at home, but it would of course be even better with your PHP solution and its 100% success rate :)

The router only got 8 MB flash, of which most is taken up by OpenWRT. On top of that I'd have to install the PHP engine packages to run your solution, which would leave even less free space. I could of course mount an USB flash drive as www folder and get plenty of space, but the rated current draw of the WT3020 alone is 500 mA, and I really don't want to push it if it can be avoided.

I know it's too much to ask, but would it be possible to compile a lightweight version of your self hosting package, where the www folder weighs in at 1.5 MB or less?

Clickys to start HBL and Loadiine would be enough, the latter for convenience. Anything else would be pure luxury :)

You can do that by yourself.
The package without 5.3.2 and 5.4.0 stuff is around 2,0 MB.
Without the res folder (images, fonts, unimportant stuff) it is around 350-400 KB!

So you just have to make a simple html file, linking to the folders with the index.php

I'm not much of a programmer, but that actually sounds simple enough. I'll give it a shot. That however doesn't mean I wouldn't appreciate if you guys actually knowing this stuff looked into it too and made something better than a dirty hack :)

You can even use the very lightweight 532 index.html with the nice background to set your links to the new files. So you have a nice looking website.

Try it by yourself - if you have problems i can look into it tomorrow.

At work for another week, so can't do the final test on the console yet, but got something together that should, and also seems to work as intended when loading it in the PC browser.

Cleaned out everything non-5.51-related, and wrote a HTML file linking the relevant .php files. Ended up at 298 kB altogether. The cosmetics aren't all that important, but there are margins if I feel like doing a neater looking index page at some point :)

Thanks for your advice, and your offer to help aswell, even if I don't think I'll need it now :)
