Thats streange, Even if it isnt compatable the Access Point should be found, The error of it not being compatible is when your entering the password, If it says the password is wrong when it is, Then the network is unsupported.
The fact that its not being found at all is strange.

It will always give a connection error, WFC is down lmao, You need to use WFCReplay to get a Cheat Code that allows use of custom WFC servers, At the moment I cant get it to actually connect to the GTS in Pokemon Diamond but anyway, Once you load up the Cheat Code, Go into the game, Before loading the save go into WFC Settings in the game not 3DS Settings, Click your connection scroll down set Auto DNS to No, And in Primary and Secondary add: 104.131.93.87, Seems to be the AltWFC server and it will work for (Test Connection) after you save the settings then restart your 3ds and go back into the game using the Server cheat and testing should work.

Again I cant connect to the GTS or anything for some reason still but im assuming that its an error with my 3DS or something

well i have the cheat for my game on nitro i turned it on and booted up have i have the dns stuff in and when i click test connection it fails

Yeah if you just wait a while it will eventually connect it was the same for me nothing would connect waited a while and it randomly connected
