Hacking Psp Go on 6.35

I just got this thing today, and I haven't even messed around with hacking any psps since I had to use a battery, so i'm a little behind. I tried to follow a few guides but everything seems either outdated, or not applicable to me. I don't know if the GO differs, or whether I should downgrade or Update. So i guess what I'm asking is, where can I find a proper guide for what i have to run CFW that doesn't have broken links? Thanks.

There is a temp CFW for OFW 6.61 called LME. Here's a link to the download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/y0yzmy1iu3av541/release_661lme2.3.zip
Than update to 6.61 via the XMB by going to the Settings section in the XMB and hit Software Update. Than hit accept and let it update.
Once you download the CFW, extract it to the PSP via the XMB's USB connection feature under Settings.
Than, close the connection on the PSP and go to the Games section of the XMB and look for 6.61 LME Installer. Launch it and follow the directions. Once it is done, It'll reboot. Than go back into the Games section and launcher 6.61 LME Launcher. Now you're running the 6.61 LME CFW!

To my knowledge, while there are temp-CFW's for pretty much any PSP up to 6.60 and 6.61 (the last OFW release up to this point), the latest permanent CFW for the PSP go and pretty much everything up to PSP 2000 systems is still on 6.20. If you don't mind the temporary nature of them, LME should be fine.

Personally, I downgraded my PSP's (I too have a go and more recently a 3000 series) on 6.20 and ProC (fix3); there is a C2 that I'm aware of, but I know that had a known issue with running any PSX/PSN games. Not sure if there's been anything newer that fixes that.

Unless you have some newer information, and it is entirely possible I'm not very up to date on these things, those permanent CFW's on anything newer than 6.20 OFW for the PSP only worked on either the 1k and early 2k series units. The OP stated that they are referring to a PSP go system; it's even in the thread title.

Step 1. Update to 6.61.
Step 2. http://infinity.lolhax.org/index.php (I don't think I can post links to the update files directly, but just make sure the ones you download are for the PSP GO [it has different files])
Step 3. Install the CFW of your choice, either PRO CFW or LME CFW, and enable the respective permanent patch in the Infinity Configuration.
Step 4. Run whatever unsigned code you want!

So does the pro firmware for this still work with pax games? That's pretty much the reason I stuck with c(fix3) for so long.

What's a "pax game"? Do you mean PSN games? They work fine with Infinity and PRO-C2 (there is no fix3 for 6.61).

I mean PS1 games. ProC2 refused to load any of them, returning some stupid error. I never bothered to see if there was a C3 or anything because nothing I had needed anything newer than 6.20.

Oh, PSX! That makes sense, seeing as "A" is next to "S" on the keyboard. Anyway, I found your old thread here, and, presuming you are trying to load EBOOT's, I believe the issue has been fixed, as I read from another thread that 6.61 PRO-C2 works fine for booting PSX games. I don't know myself, however, as I do not own any PSX games (for the PSP, at least). The only way to find out for sure is to try, and if it doesn't work, you can always revert to whatever firmware you were on before!

I would certainly prefer to know beforehand, since work just started getting busier for me again, which by then also means I don't have as much free time available to fiddle and troubleshoot if things go awry.

Well, if that's the case, maybe you shouldn't update at all, as setting up Infinity takes quite some time in general, especially if you have a lot of stuff on your internal memory (I think it wipes it?).
I suppose I could test a PSX game on my own PSP, though.
