New Patreon Release will be out on monday. Main new feature are game profiles allowing us to save the settings for each game separetly. Sounds great!

I can have individual game settings per game already, but i guess this will be good for people that want all games in just 1 folder and only have the 1 emulator

OMG saying the big feature of 1.5.5 is game profiles is an understatement!!.
We also will no longer have vanishing characters in Xenoblade!. And Project Zero Maiden of Black Water also boots and goes in game (With broken graphic issues for now).
Plus the is some other graphic fixes and speed improvements for low/mid range systems.
All in all i cannot wait for monday!!!

Running into issues with Mario Kart 8 (haven't tried other games).

I was playing several cups without issues, after one hour it crashed, which seems ok for a WIP emulator. Then I didn't play again until today, but I observed the shading wasn't right at all, specular reflections were missing. I wonder what could be causing this, inbetween I did update the nvidia driver from 353.30 (yes old, but working) to latest for other reasons but now I reverted doing a clean reinstall (DDU and all) and still same, using a new unrar'ed cemu, clean cache, no savedata, nothing, yet it still renders flat, like in this video here:
Code:

I was so happy to play Mario Kart 8 at last that now I'm a bit bummed.

It looks like that on the first course you play normally (in one run of CEMU). If it persists, try deleting your shader cache.

Thanks! How odd, now I played one lap in one circuit, quit, and when reentered indeed it loaded the shaders. I remember all tracks playing fine from the get go when completing the cups... (some of them look horrible without them) I know the shaders failing today were caused by trying to load shaders from one driver version to another, probably.

Will check how the emulator behaves from here on and report.

Each game having its own settings profile? Yay!
Does that also mean that each game will have its own configured set of controllers (that way we no longer have to change input whenever we change games)?
I prefer emulating with a Wii U Pro for NSMBU but it's a little tedious having to set it to Wii Gamepad whenever I decided to play SM3DW next, and then back again to Wii U Pro for other games.

Also, I'm hoping we no longer have to move the mouse to the upper-right most corner just to hide it when in fullscreen....

@Exzap

Hi. I know this is one game specific, and you like to improve the emulator as a whole and not focus on one specific problem for one game.
BUT, Mario Kart 8 has a ridiculously long loadingtime when booted from .rpx, while it works perfectly as a .wub/wux. Now normally, and for vanilla MK8, this wouldn't be a problem. But MK8 has a LOT of DLC, which can only be applied when game is extracted and the .rpx is used to boot it.

Would you at least consider focusing SOME effort into this? :-)
Personally I don't care if it'd be an ugly workaround or whatever. As long as it works. Like, idk, extracting the game, applying the DLC, and placing the .wux file into the gamefolder and use that to boot, but use the DLC content from the extracted folders instead. Just as an example. (I know nothing about coding, and have no idea how stuff like this works)

Like, whatever is easiest on your part. We users can fiddle around and make it work. If you could just open for some workaround option with a small explanation on how to do it. That would be awsome!

Thank you for reading, your hard work with the emu, and possible consideration of looking into this in the long run. Keep it up!

Press the tab for the second controller in input and assign buttons as you did with the first controller

I tried for some reason when configuring buttons dont want to register. For example I have controller 1 setup as wii u game pad on controller 2 the only options you have are classic and pro controllers I tried both didn't work.
