Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

EarthBound works, the only that I didn"t checked is if it trigger the Copy Protection, but most likely it doesn"t.
Only saying that of course BlargSnes run it at mostly constant 60 FPS without problems so you maybe want to play in it @nooby89 .

Earthbound works well but it has audio issues.
 
I just noticed the smdh i made last night is enterely fucked up (curse me for using another smdh as a base). I made a new smdh from scratch and this one works fine (title, description and author).

The should still use the generic icon (since it is s port of snes9x i just used a icon of that emu) but the info should mention bubble2k16 and describe the app (at least it does for me when i see it on the hbl)
 
Since it's not having a .cia and .3ds version, I made an unofficial build of those file types. I hope the banner and icon are allright (those aren't made by me I just googled them and applied them). I included both banner + icon (48x48 and 24x24) in case the owner wanna reuse them.

This unofficial build is slightly modified and has a config support for the rom path so you can put your roms somewhere else. An example file is included in the zip file.

EDIT : btw looks like roms crash and I don't know why. I'll try on original 3dsx build.

EDIT 4 : btw do you plan on making the screen configurable (2x, stretched, original)?

UltiNaruto, I'm using the libctru, but not any of the citro3d libraries.

Yes, I do plan to make the screen configurable to original, stretch to fill whole screen, or stretch to fit screen (maintain original ratio)

But I'm a little busy with Mode 7 now. So the screen stretching stuff will take a while.

Is it possible to make some tweaks in this to stretch it to full screen, temporarily? It would be really awesome..
 
Are there any benefits over using this over BlargSnes? I like Blargsnes but it can't play FFVI or Megaman X2 and 3. Can snes9x?
 
With enhancement chips and mode 7 not yet supported I think those games are probably a way off from being supported, if at all. Fingers crossed though.
 
I think it shouldn"t be difficult to can change controller 1 to 2 and add maybe other controllers support, but a multiplayer will be something very difficult to do and even if it can be implemented it should affect the emualtor performance a lot.
