Version 0.2 is up!

I didn't get add much because I'm sick ATM. The main thing is I managed to add was CIA builds, so I decided on making a release.

Changelog:
  • Battery percentage is now shown (incrementals of 1-5 is displayed as 20-100%)
  • NNID detection
  • SD size
  • CTR NAND size
  • Add 3DSident dir check for CIA users.
  • Reorganized info into categories.
  • Added CIA builds

It's not necessarily battery percentage.
PTMU_GetBatteryLevel returns values from 1-5. You can think of these as battery levels. I decided to display these as increments of 20's. Therfore displaying them as percentages haha.

Also it seems NNID detection isn't working. I'll try fixing this in another release.

... even the biggest noobs like hacksn5s4 know that that is impossible

you must be a really big 3DS noob!
I didn't think it was completely impossible, I thought the app did something different or something to read battery percentage. I dunno.

Would it be possible to add support for showing the console's serial number? This tool would actually be very useful for me.

EDIT: Also what about instead of taking screenshots automatically on exit, maybe press a different key (i.e. Select) to exit and take a screenshot whereas Start would simply exit the application?

Not too sure about that yet, but I will consider it.
About the screenshot feature, I think I'll just leave it as is so that it's identical to the PSP version. It only takes one screenshot and deletes it if you reopen the app after closing it.

EDIT: I think I might just add a config file for that so you can toggle automatic screenshots.

Alright support for screenshots config has been added.
Basically what you need to do is open screenshot.bin, which is placed
under 3ds/3DSident/screenshots/screenshot.bin and replace 1 with 0, if
you want to disable screenshots.

Also added font colors to make it look similar to PSPident:

Nothing much has been added recently, but more information will come along. Also a key feature to note about this is that it can check for proper downgrades. (thanks to @Wolfvak) Those who have downgraded before and went through a process called 'partial downgrade' would know about this.

You need to change that logic, if you have a saved picture it gets deleted on Start.
If you don't exit the app properly/as intended there wouldn't be a new one created and thus there would be no Screenshot.
Why not deleting it right before saving the new one?

Version 0.3 is up!

I honestly didn't want to add a screenshot toggle because it's a native feature for PSPident, and i'd much rather keep the code as minimal as possible. However due to a few requests I decided on doing it in a crappy way. (you'll have to use your computer)

Changelog:
  • Screenshot config. (Open screenshot.bin, which is placed under 3ds/3DSident/screenshots/screenshot.bin and replace 1 with 0, if you want to disable screenshots. Take note, you must run 3DSident at least once to generate screenshot.bin)
  • Added text colors similar to way PSPident was presented. (makes things prettier :P)
  • Display SDMC CID and NAND CID

(PS. My CIDs have been edited out.)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
