Hey all,

I just had a quick question in regards to the 3DS HBL (Homebrew Launcher)'s Netloader feature. My HBL version 1.1.0 and upon using the tutorial found at https://github.com/xem/3DShomebrew/blob/gh-pages/tutorial.md#deploying-your-code-to-the-3ds ,my 3DS freezes, I am trying to "upload" a pre-compiled 3dsx file, so maybe that's the problem, but if anyone knows, please help, I have no access to an sd card reader, as my computer does not have one for whatever reason, and do not want to drive 20 minutes to my nearest Staples store. Thanks in advance!

Netloader is only for debugging really. But if you upload an FTP server app (the .3dsx) with 3dslink you should be able to then transfer files. And "my 3DS freezes" doesn't really help me. When does it freeze? What did you do exactly before it froze. What app where you trying to upload. Did you compile it, if not who did? etc. etc. etc.

Apologies, allow me to clarify, I'm attempting to upload a file by the name of ftpd.3dsx. I am unsure who compiled it, but I downloaded it from 3dbrew. As soon as I run the command "cat ftpd.3dsx | nc 192.168.1.9 17491" the HBL freezes completely, and I am forced to restart my 3DS, apologies if this is still unclear, but I'm not entirely sure what else I can say to help.

Oh and one more thing, I can't use 3DSLink.exe as it opens and IMMEDIATELY closes so I've been using command prompt instead. Would it be legal to link a working version, I got mine from http://davejmurphy.com/3dslink/

It's a simple fix. That is the working 3dslink, but it's a command line tool. So yeah it should close immidiatly if you simply run it. But if you shift right-click in the same directory as 3dslink.exe and then click "open command prompt here" and then type something like: "3dslink 192.168.1.9 ftpd.3dsx" (IDK if that command is correct it might be filename first IP second.)

Ok I've been trying file and first. I'll try the IP first, and report back in a bit.
