Do you have Luma3DS.dat on the root of your SD? Did you merge the 3ds folder from the Luma zip with the 3ds folder that's on the root of your SD card?

Ayy lmao: That's what you want Luma is supposed to kick you back to home menu. Use it then check in system settings if you see emu before the firmware you're good.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I am on A9lh and just installed Hyrule Warriors Legends and it says a software update is available. I know not to accept it just ignore it?

If the software update is for the game, it's safe to install it from the eShop.

Yeah, I read home menu has the Homebrew Launcher menu. Sorry. ^^'

i am at the part of installing rednand on my 9.2 new 3ds but every time i boot into emunand9 it stays on a black screen.

I dont have any cfw yet, so im sure i dont boot it in cfw.

Any ideas?

That's what Luma3ds does that's all it does it take you back to the home screen as long as you have an emu before your firmware number it is working like it should.

Check and double check that you're on emu 9.2 then you update your system, that's what the end of part 3 instructs you to do. Do not update unless the firmware says emu first.

It takes a couple of tries when trying to launch EmuNAND9. Keep trying.

Yea I do, I put everything the guide asked me to put in the SD card.

Did you mean the 3DS home menu or the Homebrew Launcher menu? Selecting Luma3DS is supposed to bring you to the home menu of your EmuNAND.

  1. Get into the Homebrew Launcher through the entrypoint of your choice
  2. Open Luma3DS (this can sometimes black screen, just try again)
  3. Activate "Show current NAND in System Settings"
  4. Press Start to boot RedNAND
When I launch Luma3DS, I just get sent to the home menu, no options like "show current NAND in system settings

Hold select when loading luma :)
If you used luma at least once already, there must be a config file on the sd card. The only time it appears is first time use to create the config file. if it already exist, you can force it to load with select button held during luma boot process.
