Yes. Then Export it. Then Put the SYSTEM file on your PC (thats the save). Edit it. Put it back in. Import it. Voila you're done.

Would there be any way to use this to change my hunter's voice to the alternate clips you get when using the Felyne equipment? The random meowing goes better with all the cat puns I yell at people online, but I prefer my regular equipment. (Failing that, what equipment even changes your voice? I know the Felyne Mask and the Melynx tool do, but I'm not sure what does other than those two.)

Sorry thats just too much for me. But the Editor allows to edit Voice/Hair/Looks/Name and everything.

ok when I got into jk manager for mhg I see 3 options. 1 save data options. 2 extras data options. 3 exit. when I click save data options it says error opening save archive. the save data options is the backup setting right? I wanna backup first before I do anything.

First off thank you APM for this editor, it took me a whole day to get it to work lol. Anyways, I've managed to edit my save and only did minimal since I don't want to get banned. (I only change my cash/points and amount for items I own already). However with the new implement of being able to change my palico, I was wondering if you could clarify the options more as some just seem wrong? (like forte stealing or treasure aren't really in mhgen).

Assuming you've downloaded APM's Save Editor on the 1st page, open it up, go to load, go into the JKSV folder in your SD card, go to ExtData, MonHunGen, whatever you named your file, then system. Then edit what you want in the editor, save it, then load up JK and import the save back into the game cart

LOL cash is life Also anyone using apm editor can find the palico training codex and training manual? its what helps palicos lv up faster at the dojo and I cant find it in the save editor. Maybe its under a different name?

So, trying to figure out what's wrong with my Palicos.

For the one who keeps having his support skills removed, he's a Fighter type.
Attack Up (S) - Innate
Handicraft - Innate
Critical Up (L) - Tier B
Earplugs - Tier B
Critical Up (S) - Tier C
Boomerang Pro - Tier C
Tremor Res - Tier C
Stamina Drain - Tier C

So, he's a BBCCCC skill cat, which according to the guide should work just fine. He's only got skills that he could actually learn.

My other cat is a Charisma type.
His actions are being removed.

He has:

Palico Rally - Innate
Mini Barrel Bombay - Innate
Herb Horn - Innate
Health Horn - Tier A
Detox Horn - Tier B
Big Boomerangs - Tier C
Dung Bombay - Tier C

He's Charisma, so ABCCC should be valid for him.

The only thing I can think of is that it has something to do with the "Learned Action/Skill RNG" values on the first page of the Palico info.
But I have no idea what those should be changed to if anything.

Did you change the "Learned Action/Skill RNG" to match your skill groups ?

For your Fighter Learned Skill RNG value be "0109" If it's not, change it.
For your Charisma Learned Action RNG value be "050A" If it's not, change it.

Your RNG value gotta match your learned skill/action otherwise it wouldn't work

can you send links? I can send you the link of the vid I watched to homebrew my new 3ds same version as yours. I literally watched the video and copied his steps while watching him. I did it about 1 and a half hours ago
