o3ds on older(rednand) method of A9lh+luma3d

Okay, so I have an issue which I assume is caused by an incompatibility with rednand. Last night I bought a game off the eshop and decided to keep a backup in case I ever needed to restore it for some reason. I booted into Decrypt9 as one does and discovered that It doesn't want to dump my EmuNAND titles because an EmuNAND can't be found. I then tried to back up my RedNAND to a bin with emunand tool so I could use redtools to covert my rednand to emunand but emunand tool is also telling me it cannot find an emunand (Of course). I have a crapload of games installed that would take an eternity to redownload/install otherwise I would just have d9 format the sd to an emunand is there another tool out there that will back up redNAND?

Use emunand9, has to be launched via sysnand homebrew.
I can't run Emu9 in sysnand because luma+a9lh breaks launching it through hbmu (red screen crash). tried booting as a payload and it worked but when trying covert RedNAND ~~> EmuNAD I get an error. "No EmuNAND on this SD, nothing to do. Convert RedNAND -> EmuNAND: Failed!" Can't help but feel I'm over looking a simply solution to this..

Than i go back to my original statement. I dont think you have emunand or rednand for that matter. During arm9 install, you flash emunand_original.bin over sysnand, than format with no emunand...

Or there is a big misunderstanding some where.

God damn.. I feel like an idiot. For some reason I thought A9LH needed a special partition containing certain files to boot. Just booted with another sd... -__- anyway.. hmm well that's odd. I wonder why D9 didn't/wouldn't dump the title keys to all my games then? It only dumped like 8 game titlekeys so I was assuming it was because I had rednand or something. any idea?

*Edit*
Nevermind got it sorted out, thanks for the help.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
