Homebrew Oot3dHax on 11.0?

i am using freakyhax

Hmm.. I don't primarily use oot3dhax since I have cfw, I just use the hbl launcher. cia, but I have a Zelda OOT cart so lemme experiment with something
If you don't have a way to inject and extrat saves using HB then use this

Is your 3DS OLD or NEW?
Firmware? (I'm guessing 11.0?)
Region of 3ds?

I'm gonna create a new save according to your information and have it patched with the new payload for 11.0, then you'll just put the new save to your Zelda OOT cart

In theory it should work easily like this, the only way to know is to try it :P

Well oot3dhax worked on my O3DS so now all I have to do is switch the the payload to a N3DS and it should work after :P

Can you check to see what payload you have on your SD card? It should be this (N3DS_U_25600_usa_9221)

Hey man, try out this save I made, it should work (fingers crossed)
This has the 11.0 payload for N3DS (N3DS_U_25600_usa_9221)
And this "version" of the cartridge (cardids_c2fe009000000000)
Use the manager I linked to you above and import it into your Zelda: OOT cart

If the game says the save is corrupted and deletes it immediately, then that means you gotta find someone else with this "version" of the cart (cardids_45fe009000000000) and ask if they are able to do the same thing I did

thanks alot, just to confirm with the same manager i place the smdh file in the 3ds folder correct

you don't need to do that unless you want to have one of those 2 specific icons :P
it wont open a save manager, when i add the file nothing is installed

i tired to use svrt and when i pick the game it give me a yellow bottom screen and black upper screen

Did you extract the 3ds folder from the link to the root of your SD Card? It should have merged with your current 3ds folder and showed up in the HBL Menu

Also, create a new folder named "saveDataBackup" and extract the save into the folder

Don't use sdvt lol

Weird.. @configchan said it only happens with OOT3D on 11.0 so I guess your out of luck?
But I was able to boot it using oot3dhax so... maybe due to me having cfw?
Most likely due to CFW, I assume CFW's fix for ASLR issues is to block it from happening entirely. It also grants applications permissions they don't normally have, so testing stuff like exploits on CFW devices can give you an incorrect impression about what does and doesn't work.

Well at least there is a save that might be useful to someone :)

It tells you on the top of the screen when you launch the HB launcher, I'm assuming you have 2.7
