Hacking about R4i GOLD firmware

so I got this card: http://www.nds-card.com/ProShow.asp?ProID=149
and set everything up with woodR4 and am able to play my games, but I wondered if there is a way or workaround to get the more or less "official" R4 firmware (the one with the R4.dat and the R4iMenu folder) to work on this card (already tried, but it doesn't work with the unpatched raw files, like it's supposed to do).
I want to achieve that, because of the ingame guide feature, which is missing in woodR4.
Any suggestions?

The ingame guide etc. from r4i-sdhc.com (which I suppose you say are official which they are not) are shit. It's not possible with your card but don't be bothered by that. That feature isn't very helpful anyways.

IMO wood is the best R4 kernel anyway, and any feature it doesn't have is unnecessary. Out of all of the kernels I have tested, Wood always comes out on top until you get to the more expensive cards in the $40+ range.
