Hi, there's any difference between A9LH and Gateway A9LH? It´s easier to install with a Gateway, but you can do all the things with that (like CFW, multi region, etc) or it´s a limited A9LH only for the flashcard?
yea its not unbricking new 3dsAlso, didn't GW A9LH skip important stuff?
It's technically not fully married to the red card. You just need a clean (non-gw-a9lh) 9.2 sysnand backup to remove it. But we all know that half the people around here seem to run military type deletion software because NAND backups take up too much god damn space. If you use gateway's solution your 3ds is married to your card, meaning you can't use it without it. Don't limit yourself and use the proper method. You can still boot right into gateway with a few tricks. Also no Luma, payload chaining, etc. It doesn't offer firm protection ether meaning if you update sysnand with gateway's solution you'll be SOL.
Their public private beta, yeah. lelIt's technically not fully married to the red card. You just need a clean (non-gw-a9lh) 9.2 sysnand backup to remove it. Funny I have like 100GB worth of NAND Backups, for about 14 systems. Only 5 of those systems I actually own and use. The rest are friends and family.
But anyways, even with that, GW-A9LH is very very locked down. Even if you want GW-A9LH. At least wait for it to get out of it's "Private Beta" status, and for them to release a polished installer, and not their current shitty one that likes to skip a lot of safety steps and that sometimes errors out.
Also, if you go down the GW-A9LH route and something goes wrong, don't be surprised if no one around here helps you. As no one around here is recommending GW-A9LH because of all it's drawbacks and because of how dangerous the current GW-A9LH Installer is.
That's what the quotation marks are their for.Their public private beta, yeah. lel
Haha, I haven't had a need for them, but I keep them, and their my friends, and the ones that are mine, well, their mine! So I don't see the big deal in getting rid of them.@Temptress Cerise I know that feel, I have around 70 gigs of backed up stuff, and I have that backed up on 3 separate drives. 8 systems, all named by console type and date of back up.
Saved my ass more then once too.
they gonna release it just soon™Don't forget, Gateway's a9lh installer is still a "private" beta, meaning it's not intended for public use yet. Regardless of whether or not they fix its flaws before the next release, you should avoid using it for that reason.
