So... I'm having an issue to where the cia I made crashes to the "an error has occurred screen" and then it reboots my console. I'm basically trying to make a shortcut of 3DSCraft and I do have everything that's needed on the root of my SD Card. It just won't load the file for some reason...

Don't know if makerom and bannertool for linux are available. If so, i can easily convert the batch file to a bash one.
Both makerom and bannertool are available on Linux, but they need to be manually compiled first. After that the executable bit should be set (chmod +x <filename>) and they function fully.

Source: Did it myself and put them in my PATH for good measure.

What's the Unique ID you used?
Well the thing is... I used up to 5 different IDs with this. I made sure they had the letters A-F and everything was built correctly. So... I don't really think its a Title ID issue. Just as an aside, I do have the latest payload installed and it does boot into the application fine. What happens is it reads data from the payload and starts reading the homebrew file, then that's when it throws that error and takes me back to the Home Menu to restart my system. Sorry if I wasn't descriptive enough. That's my bad on my part.

Gone are the days of .elf to .cia
Now rises a new, better alternative, to launch your homebrews.

Great idea.

Is your pl folder not empty?
What are the unique ID you used and your console?

Was really hoping this would work with basic homebrew(without even .xml files)
This always hangs on a red screen

Can you make it work with /homebrew/3ds/3dsxfwd or something?

It requires an edited payload to do so.

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
They need to add air tags to they airbuds..

@BigOnYa the airtags are bigger than the airpods, they won't fit

Click on your profile pic in the top right corner, and you'll get the profile menu popup, with the profile icon highlighted at the top, and the "bookmarks" banner next to it in gray. Click on that icon and you'll get a list of your bookmarks.
