Homebrew Oot3dHax on 11.0?

Can't seem to get this to work on my US N3DS XL. Injected the save using JKSV, but when I try to load up the payload, the game crashes and 3ds prompts me to restart the system.
Try formatting the game, start the game up and press and hold a,b,x,y at the same time during boot. Then erase the save data when asked. Then use the latest version of fbi installer 2.3.1 and inject the 2 files into the game then load the game up and try again. :)

Don't forget the boot.3dsx Homebrew loader file on the root of the sd card. :teach:

Yellows8 has fixed oot3dhax for firm 11.0 today.

I have compiled and packaged them for savedatafiler/svdt/jksm.
[office space managers voice] If someone else could do the powersaves versions that'd be great, mmkay.

ayyy thx bae ilu, finally, this worked perfectly

(I'm apparently too incompetent to successfully compile them myself, none of my attempts were actually getting rid of the ASLR)

He's actually made a ton of commits since I've compiled it, so maybe it was broken somewhere along the way.

Still doesn't work for me, more info: I'm on v11.0.0-33U CFW sysNAND (Luma3DS A9LH). I can boot homebrew using the homebrew launcher.

If you're on a9lh and your luma is recent, you shouldn't even need the updated oothax payloads. The ASLR is patched out by luma.
Use phase's installer.
https://github.com/phase/oot3dhax_installer/releases
Use 10.7
Can you contact the person in charge of the oothax and ask them is it possible to play the game as normal using new save file? I can't create a new file to play the game with.

Oothax save file payload is the size of all three save slots. You can't, without deleting the hax.

If you're using OoTHax on a cart, the payload will take up all the space for save files, which are stored on the cart, so if you have OoTHax installed, you can't play the game.
This isn't an issue with the digital version, because that version doesn't have memory restrictions.

Okay, then is there some kind of homebrew that can use saves on sd card without actually installing the game on the sd card? Kinda like the riivolution file replacement thing for hacks using real wii disc and files on sd card.

Figures. I just want to confirm if the payload works so when the time of 'downgrade from v.11' comes, I can use that to my future 3ds'es. Seems I can't test the payload since I haven't got a 3ds with stock v.11 sysNAND in it.

Here's a special build of luma that I use to test stock firmware. It just has the loader replacement omitted, everything else is the same.

You're a genius. So smart, it amazes me really, i dunno how people come up with this stuff but is cool. All i can do is sit and watch saying AHHHHH OHHHHH^_^

What is snark? I was giving you a complement.
I thought you would have liked it. Next time i'll just say thank you for the exploits and just be quiet from now on. :ninja:

It was just a single line of code commented out. lol. That's probably why that post looked like sarcasm to me. Anyways, sorry for the misunderstanding. : )

I hardly know anything about creating exploits, finding kernels making homebrew or coding a cfw, last i remember exploits were glitches in video games that only ran on cartridges like sonic the hedgehog walking through walls, kernels were in popcorn, homebrew was something i thought was a witch would cook in a cauldron, and cfw stood for crispy fried wings from KFC or kentucky fried chicken.

I just watch stuff happen, and get excited when i use the stuff and have fun breaking new grounds for things i thought were not possible. I am not even sure my words mean anything here since I'm no hardcore programmer like most others here but is nice to be on the inside of things as it unfolds and give opinions for what could be helpful.:) If anyone listens to them.
