Hacking Gateway with Arm9Loaderhax

Hi everybody, as you can see i have my New3ds with arm9 Sysnand 11.0.0-33U but have a gateway red card also so i want to use it with .3ds titles and don´t have to install all in my N3ds with .cias, in the gateway page they says i can time machine or something, but i really don´t understand anything, maybe someone can help me? :3 thanks a lot for the advice n_n

Thanks a lot, well like a said i already have my arm9 with luma but wanna play games with the gateway red card, maybe someone can tell me how i can use the gatewaycard with the arm9

You can add their arm9loaderhax.bin as a payload with luma, you can get that here. Rename it to (button you want to push to launch GW)_GW.bin, and put in your luma/payloads folder.

that's the setup I have right now ... Luma3ds with GW as second boot option but when booting in GW mode you'll always have an anoying prompt asking you to pres L + R + Select and for me It's a bit buggy ... the boot rate isn't 100% like it was with my old emunand setup and it sometimes crashes when using the GW menu :/

Thanks a lot everyone, well i use the .bin like this R_GW.bin, well i keep pressing R when i turn on my N3ds and it says i have ver. 10.7.0-32U and when i push select to play gateway games it doesn´t work, any solution plz :3

If you are on v2 A9LH, then you'll need to follow this small guide I wrote.

If on v1 A9LH, you'll need to be on a screen-init fork. Assuming you followed Plailect's guide when it used v1 A9LH, you should be on a v1 screen-init fork.

You'll be on v2 A9LH, if you have followed Plailect's guide pretty recently.

"Screeninit arm9loaderhax payloads turn on the screen before handing control over to arm9loaderhax.bin (making sure it works with all arm9loaderhax.bin files), while noscreeninit arm9loaderhax payloads do not (allowing arm9loaderhax.bin to control things like brightness during boot). You can choose to use either (the guide used to only have screeninit payloads)."

Before, you didn't really have a choice, unless you went out of your way to get it. Now, the guide, leaves that up to you.

Since you are trying r_gw.bin in luma/payloads folder you need to hold L+R keys. If you not bothered to hold two buttons then you can set down d-pad button instead like down_gw.bin

You also need to place GW Launcher.dat file in root of console sd card.

This will work only with previous Phailect guide that had A9LH v1

How did you remove your EmuNAND//RedNAND?

If you followed the guide to the letter, you should have used EmuNAND9's "Format SD (no EmuNAND)" option. If you used a third-party tool, like EaseUS or any other partition manager, then that's your problem. GW still sees a non-existent EmuNAND and is trying to boot into it.

Backup your SD card files, and properly remove your EmuNAND, by using EmuNAND9's "Format SD (no EmuNAND)" option.

By any chance your sysNAND is upated beyond 9.2? That might be the case... Try putting latest beta 2.0 Launcher.dat

EDIT: From your posts it seems you have 11.0 on sysNAND and 10.7 on emuNAND.
