Hacking System Transfer with CFW?

I purchased the New 3DS today and installed Arm9loaderhax on it and was wondering if the following is possible:

1. Can I transfer from my o3dsU to my n3dsJ? They're both updated to latest firmware and have arm9loaderhax.
2. If number one is not possible, can I change the region of my American o3ds to Japanese then do a system transfer?
Hopefully someone can help me! Thanks Tempers! ~

Edit : I searched on Google and you can't transfer with consoles from different regions, so how about region swapping then trying?

You can perform a manual system transfer (won't transfer NNID) or region change one of the systems. Those are your options.

I wouldn't recommend doing this though. Region changing and performing an official system transfer is cleaner and transfers all data, there are some things you can't transfer with this method.

Yikes, I was okay with it until I got to the Fat16 CTR Partition part. I guess I'll change regions! Thank you for your help!

You don't need all the steps described in that guide, as GodMode9 can read/write the NAND directly, so you can skip all the dumping/decryption.
