Gaming Infinite loading screen, please help

When I turn on my DS Lite it gives me an infinite loading screen when I have my rom card in it.. how do I fix it (i dont think the card is fake it's been working for years... and i deleted everything on it and downloaded newer software for it or whatever and deleted them because it still wouldn't work) please help i really want to be able to play it again

I have an r4i Gold 3DS and a DSTwo+, they both work.

Have you tried any other game carts in the slot to check it's not that?

If the slot is fine, did you format the sd card properly when installing the new software?

That seems to be an ORIGINAL R4...
(No sd-hc anywhere to be seen)

If it is, then the error should obviously be you trying to use an 8gb SDHC card when the MAXIMUM data a vanilla original r4 can handle is NON-SDHC 2GB.


Try using a normal 2GB or below mSD card and putting the kernel files on it, there's no known way to run +2gb sd cards on the originals r4, either stock kernel or wood kernel.
