I mean I've just never seen one at GameStop (for me it's eb games) or any store for that matter except one Walmart close to my house which I think ran out a bit ago but gets shipments

watch videos
Don't watch videos. Chances are if the video wasn't made today it will conflict with the guide. If you read through the forums you will find people who bricked because they downloaded a file three days ago and then used the guide and bricked, because that file was updated over those three days. Best to follow the guide beginning to end in one day and don't get confused by outdated videos. Good luck.
You might ask, "what if I just watch the video from end to end and don't look at the guide?" Here, the video will be less safe than the guide (every update adds more and more safety to the process), and if you have any questions, nobody will be able to help you because no one will know exactly what the video was doing and advice will be different depending. Advice you get might not help or might brick you. Whereas everybody knows what the guide is doing, and if they don't, they can find out in two seconds instead of having to watch a one hour video which they won't do.

ok, probably my last question ( hopefully is) since i got homebrew going.. do I need the legend of zelda ocarina of time everytime I want to boot homebrew? or can I install something now so I can load it up without the game?

I think you can install menuhax and that'll allow you to run HBL from boot

Oh thanks, I will check it out when I get home. I downloaded 2 3ds games but couldn't boot them up.. but it was really late also so when I get home I will check that menu has and also how to boot 3ds games

So you followed the guide through? If you did don't use Menuhax and use what it recommends you in the guide and he will also recommend Menuhax at a point don't go doing your OWN thing trust me lol

Lol I just noticed there's 5 parts on that guide...and I only did put 1 rofl :rofl2::wacko::wacko::glare::glare: seems like I need to downgrade twice and install the arm9loaderhax lol well when I get home I will get on it hopefully I do it right since it seems lots of stuff to do

Be careful with downgrading and installing A9LH as they both can brick your console.

Just adding they WILL NOT brick your console as long as you follow the guide PROPERLY and plus a lot of the programs have built in safety and features and all things like that so you'll be fine it's just that it is a bit lengthy

10.6 and 10.7 will work, but requires an exploit game.

Contrary to what people have been saying, Gamestop recently reprinted Cubic Ninja and you probably can find one; go onto Gamestop's web site and search for stores that have it.

If you want to pirate games, all you really need is to get to the end of part 3. Get into Luma on Rednand and install the games there. The entire guide installs a9lh which works better, but is not actually necessary.
