Homebrew Oot3dHax on 11.0?

No, no error just the home menu. I put another file in the root. According to yellow8 it should just be named payload.bin ? Anyhow, now I also have payload.bin on the SD asides from the specially named payload. How do I know what cartridge type I have and how to exactly name the save?

OK so where did you get Payload.bin?

From the homebrew launcher website. I selected OTHERBIN and NEW 3DS version 11.0.0.37E. The hacked save came from yellow8's zip with a load of saves.

UPDATE on smashbroshax:
A friend came with a usb adapter. The hax seems to work because it keeps sending packets.
As soon as I go to SMASH-->Multiplayer, after 2 seconds of freezing it also throws me back to the home menu stating 'an error occurred'.
Does smashbroshax even work on 11.0.0.37E ?
Which payload do I need? I know I need to name it smashpayload.bin

Hey no problem :-). I did not come through in the meantime anyway. I put the files in my root. I will keep trying and let you know if it works. Thanks again and don't feel bad.

EDIT: Apparantly I was very lucky coming through before. Takes ages now it seems. Welp, I will keep trying. I googled a lot but cannot find which payload to use with smashbroshax....

EDIT2: For Oot3dHax I used the save from an archive called "oot3dhax_rawsaveimages_haxpayloads_03-01-16" and pulled a save from a folder called "cardids_c2fe009000000000/EUR". The filename of the save is: "N3DS_E_11272_8203". Since the save does work and load I can assume all that is correct?

Not Sure actually I installed my version of the save threw the homebrew launcher after using Broswerhax so was rather lucky in that sense but if it's loading for you might I suggest getting the OOTHax install from the starter kit to install it once you get it working just to make sure all versions are correct? but you got it working?

Not yet. What is the actual chance of coming through with a hacked save on 11.0?

EDIT: I came through twice (at least to the part of the artifacts and some text, now it never seems to get there anymore.

Actually Pretty high, some people use 11.0 and OOTHax to Downgrade to 9.2 then install CFW and such in fact I play to do it for a friend over the weekend, might I ask what your ultimate goal is?

Since I put your files on the SD It does not seem to get through at all anymore. I still have payload.bin and smashpayload.bin on the SD but that should not be a problem right? My goal is to run homebrew and probably downgrade my 11.0 firmware if I can do it.

EDIT: I have the save uploaded with powersaves from the second post in this link: https://github.com/yellows8/oot3dhax/releases

Is that OK? I have the homebrew starter kit on the SD and the files you uploaded for me.

I am beginning to think I'm doing something wrong here.

well if that's the case, make sure you know all the problems, but I did that and have never gone back even thinking of further tinkering but that for after,
I mean watch this video will show you unfortunately I can't help you much with the power saves part as I don't us that myself thought it has a file in it matching my 3ds (so I assume your s too 12288Eur) so would imagine that's ok, they do need to match properly I think it has to do with address layout and such, you know which save it's loading?

Thanks for the link. I am going to continue tomorrow. Very tired now. Cannot get in anymore.

He's not actually downgrading from 11.0. He used a hardmod to downgrade so that the softmod could be performed. There is no 11.0 softmod downgrade currently available and there won't be one for awhile

ok well tired here too, I'mm be on tomorrow from about 6 onwards and can help you more if you like
What I find so strange is, I cannot find anywhere that I actually need a payload to be on the sd. I found many powersaves tutorials. Nobody ever mentiones putting a payload on the SD. They all say just unpack the homebrew starter kit on the SD. Why is it so hard to find a clear tutorial with all the needed info on this?

It's probably because, as far as I understand it, putting a payload on the SD doesn't actually do anything. Installing OoThax either via the homebrew application or by Powersaves installs the payload into the save file itself (whether it be on the card or a digital copy).

OoThax will boot fine on 9.0 - 10.7 without needing any extra payload on the SD, and on 11.0 it effectively does not work, and putting a payload on the SD will not help with this.

The only time when a payload.bin file on the SD card would come into the equation is if you wanted to use the OoThax installer homebrew to perform an offline installation, in which case you'd put payload.bin in the same folder as the homebrew application.

OoThax, effectively speaking, does not work on 11.0. Use Smashhax.
