I have a luma3ds a9lh n3ds and now its c-stick is broken and i need to send it for repairs to nintendo,so i will have to remove a9lh. but the problem is that i deleted the pre-a9lh backup in a sd card purge.does anyone know what i can do? even if i get it fixed myself,i will still need a way to remove a9lh without a pre a9lh backup cuz i dont have my otp.bin (deleted that too) for installing the complete shadownand thingy which is bound to come out soon.
any ideas to what i can do?
thanks in advance!

You're kinda screwed. If ninty finds this on the software with modifications, it'll probably come back updated to sysNAND 11.v

Did you install it with v1 or v2 A9LH?

If v2, then make a NAND backup, and downgrade it to 9.2. Then use the uninstall feature of SafeA9LHInstaller v2. If on v1 A9LH, you'll need to update to v2, then attempt what I said.

Edit: Might be safer to setup a RedNAND and downgrade that to 9.2. And once that has been done successfully, then flashing that onto your SysNAND.

Do you remember when you installed A9LH? Do you remember if you used SafeA9LHInstaller 2.0.1?

As for updating, Plailect added a section to his guide for that.

if you don't have the OTP, you'll need to downgrade to 2.1 to obtain it again.
that i know

so guys i've found a way to do it...
but there is yet another problem
i installed a9lh quite a few days ago, when there where nothing of this sort-Copy emergency_SecureInfo_A, emergency_movable.sed, emergency_title.db, emergency_ticket.db, NCSD_header_[o/n]3ds.bin, and firm0firm1.xorpad from the root of your SD card to a safe location on your computer and back them up to multiple locations (such as online file storage); they do not replace NAND backups, but in the event of lost backups could save you from total data loss (after further research and development is completed)
was there.
and now that i need to update my a9lh v1 to v2,i cannot understand anything.
what should i do? how should i go on with it?
the guide says that u will brick if u use safea9lhinstaller v2 with payload_input.zip or data_input.zip..and those were the files that i used when i installed (somewhere around 25th may - 5th june)
what should i do?
bcoz in the end i will be uninstalling a9lh thru a9lhinstallerv2...
oh and the updating a9lh section in plailects guide says that put the arm9loaderhax.bin in the luma/payloads folder whereas i have it on the root.
im damn confused :(

Does Nintendo actually repair the unit you send them? My experience is they just exchange it for a refurbished unit.
