Homebrew Is it possible to record 3ds gameplay?

Your options are reduced to either buying a capture card (expensive at the moment, also hard and unpractical to install if you never messed with 3DS hardware) or using NTR CFW (streaming is New3DS exclusive for now).

Afaik buying it and installing yourself isnt even an option, you are forced to send the console to japan or buy a new console from the capture card sellers (and last i heard there was a manditory 3-6 week wait on orders), at this point i would say just sell up and buy a n3ds if you want to do screen capturing

And everyone will hate on you and say " why u recordz on a potahtoez man give meh likes folks me soh funnay"

But in all seriousness the webcam option will always look like crap

Of course that's not a webcam, but it's def doable with the right equipment and a bit of creativeness.

Yeah i was joking personally i dont care that much as long as you can see the picture, but some people get a carrot up the bum over anything that isnt 1080p 60fps
People like 1080p at 60fps? Why not 4k at 60fps?

But in all seriousness, it's not going to matter when it comes to the 3DS. So not sure why those people have a carrot up their bum.

Also, providing content your viewers want to see, is going to matter more. (Of course it should be watchable) But those Twitch streams that have 1080p 60fps in their titles, yeah, I usually ignore all those.

As for YouTube content, same thing, focus on the quality of the overall presentation, rather than trying to have the upmost perfect video.
