Not really. Just future proofing at this moment. There isn't anything out there that needs v2.

will it work if i had installed arm9loaderhax.3dsx instead, and i am on a franken-a9lh that uses delebile stuff, except the stage2, that is from dark_samus3? (withouth OTP?)
Doesn't matter. The arm9loaderhax.3dsx you used installed the payloads to your NAND and that's it, doesn't change the end result AFAIK.

if the arm9loaderhax.bin starts to become bigger, yes.
Yeah, that's why we call the update future-proofing. Because at the current moment, nothing takes advantage of it's new features (bigger payloads).

Also, Plailect's guide seems to have a rather straightforward instructions for upgrading a9lh. So, if this is harmless, why not upgrade it?

IIRC, you don't need the otp.bin to update.
As for your "frankenA9LH", I couldn't honestly tell. All I know is that updating stage2 without stage1 is one of the best ways to brick, but since you managed to do that, you should probably try your luck at a casino.
(you probably were lucky that at that time the fork was not too ahead)

i had updated it with dark samus updater, when screen init was first released.IIRC, you don't need the otp.bin to update.
As for your "frankenA9LH", I couldn't honestly tell. All I know is that updating stage2 without stage1 is one of the best ways to brick, but since you managed to do that, you should probably try your luck at a casino.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
