So, I just updated my A9LH with SafeA9LHInstaller 2.0.1 and now my 3DS doesn't turn on...
Yes, I've used the data_inputV2 and everything in the latest version...
I don't really think my 3DS is bricked because when I turn it on, the screens backlits are turning on EXACTLY when my ctrbootmanager9 loads, and when my microSD is out, when I turn on my 3DS it's turning off right away just like before...
So I did everything right in the guide and that's what happened...
Any help guys and @Plailect..?

Just to be sure, replace your arm9loaderhax.bin (which should be CTRBootManager9) with Luma3DS and try to boot.

Did you install the screen init or no screen init version of A9LH?
I installed the screen init

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Try to use the decrypt9 arm9loaderhax.bin. If it runs, you'll be saved.
But A9LH IS working...
When i turn on my 3ds without sd, it shuts off.
If it was a brick, the 3ds was still on, and my screens ARE working, the backlits are ON...
I really dont think i bricked cause i dont have the "symptoms" of bricks...

Dont know if i should make a new thread but the same thing just happened to me while in the hbl. if i push the on button once it loads to the menu where i can turn it off. nothing else works. a9lh worked so far with no issues, also didnt update anything. its just like with op's situation. entering setting options however works just fine. what is going on? is this really a strange coincidence?

What? Do you mean when you turn on your console, it goes straight to the "Sleep Mode" screen?

no, im sorry. i am a bit nervous right now. truning on lits the screens, but they remain black. nothing works, aside from the mentioned sleep mode screen. and options while turning on. it all started when i tried to change a theme through hbl/chmm, there it crashed and since then its just like op mentioned...

EDIT:
As suggested i left only the mentioned .bin file on the sd card and the 3ds boots. i try deleting everything theme related and then copy everything back. hopefully it will work. this is so strange :/

Oh, now I see. So you basically just don't have access to your Home Menu anymore.

Load up your SD card on the PC, go to the "/Nintendo 3DS/<randomhash1>/<randomhash2>/extdata/00000000/<themefolder>" and move it somewhere to your PC.

For <randomhash1>, you'll may have more than 1 folder, the one you'll need is the one with the largest size (unless you are actively using SysNAND and an EmuNAND).

For <themefolder>, I assume your console is EUR, so it'll be "000002ce".

Do you still have your Nintendo 3DS folder in the SD card (and its subfolders)? What did you delete exactly?

Well first thing i did was to take everything from the sd card besides arm9loaderhax.bin which did solve the initial Problem, however it seems everything was reseted as i had to change the time settings. Also i wasnt logged into my nnid anymore. It wasnt the initial setup of a fresh out of the box 3ds though.
Anyways, the next ive done was to copy everything back except for theme folder and chmm2 folder. And yeah, the home menu stays blank.

EDIT: its basically like if you have a fresh out of the box 3ds. Everything is still on the sd card, the 3ds however doesnt recognize any of it. no badges, mii plaza progress gone, saves, games... its like there is nothing there.

No it don't have to be workin because all of that. I briked a console updating the stage2. The same case as you. A9LH works because it's installed, but the 3DS will never start since the stage2 is briked.
Try what I said to you. If that does not work, you may need hardmod.

Ugh, booting without the "/Nintendo 3DS" folder created a new subfolder and linked the console to it. Do you have any recent NAND backup?

Note, last time i pulled that stunt removing the "new" hexdata folder and just leaving the original one made the 3ds pick it up again. You shouldnt need to restore a Nand backup if that is the problem.
