This might be in the wrong section. But has anyone that's used the Half Life mod for Quake, figured out how to setup buttons to interact with objects?

There's a Half-Life mod for Quake? I'm assuming you're running it on the ctrQuake port, right?

Yep, it works perfectly but I have no clue how to interact with objects or anything in game which means the beginning is impossible to get through.

Having a quick read through the original post, you might have to use the console to bind keys (using the "bind" command). Check forums online to see what's the command to interact with objects called, then use "bind [key] [command]" on the console. That should work.

EDIT: I've no idea, but from experience with games like this, the command's probably "use", so try inputting
Code:
bind F "use"
into the console and see if F works.

Could you link me the mod so I could try to figure it out?

EDIT: Uziskull's post is the solution. I was going to see what command the "use" button is bound to in the mod.

If you press 'f' on the touch screen's keyboard, that'll do the "+buttonuse" command.
I'm still trying to figure out how to bind to buttons on the 3DS using ctrQuake.
When pressing "f" on the keyboard it says "Unknown Command "+buttonuse""

Ok I got it working but now the flash light keeps rapidly turning on and off:wacko:
