Homebrew Universal Inject Generater Mac

Hi, I'm new to this forum so sorry if i posted this in the wrong place. Im on part 4 on the github guide and Im having trouble with the Universal Inject Generator part, it says to use the terminal but I just get errors. Im using a mac to do this and don't have access to a windows. I looked at related threads, one of them had a download link to a fbi_inject_with_banner.app and I though id try it so i put it in my 3DS and then continued the next steps. After a few more steps I wasn't getting the same results the guide was telling me I should have and before going any further I wanted to fix the UIG step. I don't want to figure out how to do bootcamp or wine just for this 3DS thing either, is there a way to do this step on mac? (steps 11-24 part 4 on the plailect guide) thank you so much!

Believe me, I feel your pain. I am a MAC user too and I love MAC more than a PC. I had a Windows for a very long time. Well, to your question, no. Nothing you can do about it. A bootcamp or wine is only way to do that. I need Windows for my MAC so I prefer bootcamp because the behave of Windows in Mac is way better and it is like a real Windows PC than Wine. You won't regret it. A bootcamp is so so easy.

I can see a .app here for use on OSX. I just tried it out right now with New3DS H&S + FBI 2.2.6 and it seemed to work (got FBI_inject_with_banner etc), even though it just runs "go.sh" in a terminal.

if you tried this already and it doesn't work, what error does it give you? are you using OS X 10.11?

not going to lie I have almost no idea how to make this work, i can barely use terminal. Im on version 10.11.1 and the error i got was

"Please generate hs.app with Decrypt9 and put it into the input folder"

did you dump hs.app using Decrypt9?

use Decrypt9, then go to "SysNAND Options" or "EmuNAND Options" (depending on what you want), then "Miscellaneous..." and "Health&Safety Dump".

this dumps a file called hs.app, which you then put in "input" as well as a CIA (like FBI.cia) and run "Mac_inject_launcher".

You get hs.app with decrypt9 on your 3ds.... than you take hs.app to your mac and proceed. Seems to me your not following directions at this point.

chances are on OS X, it might really be named "hs.app.app". try renaming it to just "hs" and try again.

it is just named hs, i tried renaming it and it was just hs. I tried renaming it to hs.app.app and it disappeared. I think i can get it back though.
