Hey guys, I wanted to know how to fix this problem I have.
Some time before, I tried installing Asphalt 8 and it didn't finish downloading from the Store. Now, when I go into the C:\Program Files\windowsapps folder, I see Asphalt 8 there. It's taking up 3GB of space I need and doesn't show up in the Store in installed apps and neither on the start screen.

My question is, how do I delete it? It says I need permission from SYSTEM and I've tried setting the permissions to let me delete it, but I can't.

This is on a school laptop, I don't have access to Command Prompt but Powershell does work. kko.PNG kkl.PNG

you probably still have access to cmd, if you use that sticky keys admin exploit thing, but i have no idea.. never happened to me

I don't recommend messing with that folder, but if you *really* want to, here's how you can remove it:
  1. Download Paexec, save the exe on "C:\" (without quotes)
  2. rightclick on the bottom-left corner, then click "open command prompt (administrator)"
  3. type `C:\paexec -s cmd` (just type the value between ``), then press ENTER
  4. a new command window should appear, click in it
  5. type `cd "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps"`, press ENTER
  6. type `del GAMELOFTSA.Asphalt*`, press ENTER
  7. the folder should vanish from the explorer window

Edit: if you can't access the command prompt at all, use Process Explorer to run `C:\paexec.exe -s cmd` as Administrator

Um...
I can't save in C:\ it says get Admin permission. Can I save it somewhere else?
@MarcusD

If you have some other OS like UBUNTU(you can also boot ubuntu as a trial without installation) you get boot it in startup of PC and delete whatever files belonging to Windows without permission.I think this is the easiest method.

You can save it elsewhere, but you would need to type out the full path to the executable, so for the simplicity I put it in the C:\ folder
For some reason C:\Users\***0017\Downloads\paexec.exe doesn't work

First, why did you install a HUGE game on a school computer?

Second, Follow this guide to get access to Administrator CMD

BEFORE DOING SO TYPE Win (That Button With the windows sign) + R and type "cmd" this MIGHT give you power of the CMD!
It's not a BIG game it's only 5 GB the laptops are 120. Also I'm on Windows 8
