So if I have the files that MassExplosion213 gave out, how can I use them with Luma?

They are the same file name's as a regular 3ds update pack

I am positive either you or I (probably me) doesn't understand what this is. The test menu (App) is used for testing the 3ds capabilities before leaving the factory. The fw is for actual game debugging
Test menu is just a very lightweight home menu without the built in game chooser/launcher/themes/applet launcher/daemons, it just have three option: Open DevMenu (which launches DevMenu and allows you to choose/manage/install/launch games on SD or NAND), Launch CTR Card (which launches the currently inserted gamecard), and Close Application (which closes the game in the background).

More than three in later revisions. You also have an option to screenshot, open System Settings, and toggle wireless.

So, I used the patched version MassExplosion213 gave us, and the update patch, however, it throws an error such as "Make sure you put the updates in '/updates'" which I did. Also, if I try to boot into Luma3ds and enable dev features and attempt to save, it will enable the patch but I have to hard reboot my console. Which then, leads to a forever black screen. I can disable and it works just fine (goes to default home menu). My config settings are only changed to enable Test Menu. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem, or is it just me. :/

Is anyone willing to compile that sysUpdater that contains same-version check patches?
It seems that the releases only consist of source code. (that my very outdated devkitpro can't compile... :/)

I hate to ask this, I really do, but for me to get more dev FWs retail encrypted, I need to get a hardmod, which I currently don't have the money for. If someone wants to donate for that, by all means do. If you don't care about dev FWs or don't have the money/desire to donate it, don't worry.

How did you do it? With that DevFW from that pastebin? I can´t get it working :(. All Apps are crashing and than a reboot
Search on that iso site, there is a thread with all the (USA) panda titles. Then use sysupdater to install them. After it has finished, extract the firmware.bin from the firmware title (0004013800000002), and use it with luma3ds with dev features enabled. (In my case, I had to region change my nand, because I'm EUR)

cool! cant wait to do mine now,did you delete those two cias you said were no good?
Just supply your own DevMenu and Config titles.
