Hey, I hope this is the right place to ask this. I currently have an Old 3DS at Version 10.6.0. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to access the Homebrew channel from this Version without spending $120 on CubicNinja. I know OoTHax would work, but it requires you to have the channel open the first time to set it up, which I cannot do. I just need a way to access HB so I can delete the encryption key for my Alpha Sapphire save file and recover the old one I had. If anyone could help I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Yeah, each folder inside the Nintendo3DS folder is associated with a NAND, since you only have one now, two of them are unnecessary. It's usually the largest size one that corresponds to your current NAND. If they're all around the same size though, best way to tell is to install any .cia and see which one increased in size.

Gamestop reprinted Cubic Ninja. Why not check if your local Gamestop has one? Anyways, there is no free method to get into HB on 10.6.

Uh, I don't think they sell it for 120 new?

Unless they opened it of course, like Xenoblade.

Cubic Ninja should be $35 at Gamestop. Just check your local Gamestop, you might get lucky. Anyways, resellers on ebay are usually selling for as low as 40ish now. Though check your local Gamestop first, if you can.

Legend of Zelda + Powersaves is also another option, should come out to around 36.99~ USD on Amazon.

I'm assuming your in America, due to your info, saying Maryland and the American flag.

There's suppose to be a new primary exploit coming out this Friday.

Im about to a9lh for a friend and I here to be safer I should format. I know how but what should I do to keep all data, a nand backup and then restore? Or is that not even possible????

Yeah, it's recommend you format prior to downgrading to 9.2 to avoid the issue described in this link.

Welp I also just realized she has a parental code for no reason, is there any way to bypass it and I mean I guess I can try without formatting but will that stop me at any other point in the process if I can't get past it

Yes, StreetPass data will be gone, and probably badge data too. Game purchases are linked to the NNID though, so that's not lost.

About the parental control code, no idea, sorry.

Yeah, there's a way to remove it. I used this on my friend's console, as I didn't want to bother their parents, and they probably forgot it anyways.

How can I find legit CIAs? Is there any difference between legit ones and other ones? I mean any performance issues or any other problems
