Try L & Start. Might not help - mine needs L being held, but I think because I am using an older CFW. Also check you have Start_Dec9.bin in luma/payloads.

Has a9lh been installed (upto section 3) been done successfully? when it boots to sysnand what does it show as the version in settings app?

Edit:
If its ignoring the start button either the start_dec9.bin doesnt exist or its Luma3DS is not booting.

In sysnad it says : Sys 9.2.0-20E

Looks like Luma is working.

Try deleting the existing start_dec9.bin and downloading a new copy and doing the step again.

If that doesnt work rename it to x_Dec9.bin and hold down the X key while booting to see if that works.

Sorry not trying to insult you but want to confirm that you tried the following two options exactly?

1) Download Decrypt9WIP Extract bin to rename to start_Dec9.bin, then boot with 'start' pressed.
2) Download Decrypt9WIP Extract bin to rename to x_Dec9.bin, then boot with 'X' pressed.

and neither worked?

Try holding down y to see if emunand9 will start.

Can you hold start (or X now) before pressing the power button (and keep pressing it)? Just to be sure you press it on time and not too late on boot.

luma/payloads: start_Dec9.bin, x_Uncart.bin y_EmuN9.bin

nope not even emunand works :O

It sounds as if luma cant see the payloads. Can you double check the directory names? The folder names for luma or payloads might be wrong.

I'm out of ideas I'm afraid.

Could you post screenshots of the SD card root and the /luma/payloads folders . it might help see any possible problems?
ok ok will do :D
